Chapter 3

Jacob Andrews was the bad boy in our school. He was a part of this group that sat outside in the school parking lot during classes smoking or drinking alcohol. I'm glad that Aaron isn't a part of that group because to be honest, my parents would never let him into our house.

Jacob also had the reputation of banging 6 girls per week. 6 girls. Can we just take a second. That's why I never liked him. I didn't want to get caught up with the long list of girls he's been with. I had a boyfriend and I never thought anything of Jacob, so I didn't have a lot to worry about.

As he entered the room, he glanced at me and smirked. Did he actually think that I was staring at him out of awe? There's a pretty big difference between awe and pure disgust.

"Jacob? You don't take this class," said Mr. East getting up from his chair.

"I do now. My schedule got changed and I'm in this class."

Jess looked over at me and scowled. "Does this school hate us? Why did we get stuck with Jacob in our favorite class."

I shrugged. I wasn't too thrilled to be in the same class as him, but if he was, I would just have to deal with it. I mean, it's not like we would associate in any way so.

"Well, ok, have a seat next to Mackenzie and get started with whatever you want," Mr. East said while pointing to the chair next to me.

You have got to be kidding me.

Jacob nodded and strutted over to where I was sitting. He then pushed my bags that were once occupying the seat onto the floor and sat down. I turned to look at him and rolled my eyes. Who did this guy think he is?

"I'm sorry did you expect me to pick that up?" he said acknowledging the mess on the floor.

"Well yeah, obviously," I said. The room went silent and everyone turned to look at me.

"Well then you better get up because I'm sure as hell not picking it up," he laughed.

I shook my head and stood up to grab my bags when I felt a hand on my back. I turned around and it was Jess smiling.

We both picked up my bags and sat back down. God, he was such a jerk. I mean, I know who he is and how he acts, but seriously? Now I wonder why no one talks to him besides his group of friends.

He's an asshole.

"I'm sorry what was that?" he stood up over me asking.
