Namjoon had not expected to be greeted at Hoseok's door with a fist to his face, but here he is, on the ground. Standing over him was a fuming Jungkook, who seemed taller in this moment. The fire was burning entire cities in his eyes. Hoseok stood up and started walking to his room, "I'll leave you two alone to talk." he said. Namjoon could tell from his timid walk and high pitched voice that he had done something astronomically wrong. Namjoon glared as his hyung exited the living room.

Namjoon pushed him off the ground and wiped the blood from his mouth. "Jungkook, whatever Hoseok said-" Before he could finish, the boy had already clutched the collar of his shirt and lifted him further up the ground.

"My mother was murdered, and you knew about it." he growled. He had sucked all the air out in the room, leaving Namjoon dizzy and in shocked with his strength. "You didn't tell me. How could you?" Namjoon waited until the initial anger passed over, which took a while. His shirt collar was completely crumbled by the time Jungkook decided to let go. His knuckles were pure snow white. He wasn't done.

As Namjoon fixed his attire, another fist came right at his face, this time, which much ore force. Namjoon stumbled backward, back flat against the wall. He saw Jungkook's legs coming up but he didn't move. He stood there and took all of the hits, all of the anger, and all of the mourning. With every fists thrown and kicks, Jungkook became weaker, more wobbly and less precise. He was getting tired and the tears started blinding his eyes. At the last punch, he aimed for the wall then rest his body weight on his brother, who was holding him tightly.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Namjoon began, "I didn't want it to sadden you and cause you stress."

The boy in his arms still mustered enough strength to scoff. "I don't feel sad, I feel extremely infuriated right now. Like I could kill someone."

Namjoon sighed. "I suggest you don't say that in front of police officers. I don't think Hoseok would hesitate to arrest you right now."

"He's right about that." Hoseok yelled from his room. Turns out, he was listening to everything. Jungkook pushed himself off and headed back to the couch. He wished he didn't have to close his eyes, because within the darkness he saw his mother. Before, he saw her peacefully sleeping while the blood slowly drained out of her. But now, the image of her unrest eyes will forever haunt him.

"The warrant to arrest him will be out soon for the drugs. And while in court, I'll present the evidence of the murder to the judge." Namjoon explained. "Along with the assault on you tonight, it should put him in prison for the rest of his life."

"That's not enough." Jungkook grumbled, shaking his head in a confused and sorrowful manner, "But it'll do."

"I'm sorry, Jungkook, I really am for what happened." Namjoon approached the boy to pat his shoulder. "But your mother wanted you back. She begged our father to go get you back, but of course he refused."

"I know that's supposed to make me feel better and not unloved. But the truth remains, she still gave me up. But I guess knowing that makes me feel not completely unwanted. It doesn't make me any less mad at her, in fact, I'm more furious that she was stupid enough to believe that man with her life." He could see his mother, writing the letters, maybe crying or maybe not. But she convinced herself that she missed her son enough to want him back at the cost of the man she probably loved. He smiled, I miss you too. "Where's ajumma?" he asked.

"I dropped her off at Taehyung's. Poor kid was really confused but he loves the company. We'll relocate her after the arrest is made."

"How long will that take?"

"Since you've already worked on the transactions and destroyed the rest of your supplies, it will be much easier. It seems that he's already onto you so it won't be long-" His phone interrupted the conversation. As he saw the caller ID, he frowned.

"Who is it, hyung?"

"Eomma," he answered, but it was more like he was talking to himself. Not that he's not happy to hear her, but it was strange that she would call at this time. "Hello? Eomma? Is everything-"

"Hello, son." The person who answered was definitely not his mother.

"What do you want?" he asked coldly.

"Such hostility." his father chuckled dryly. "But I suggest you get here as fast as you can, and bring your brother with you."

"And why the hell would I do that? Your attempt to kill him tonight was a failure and I will not let you near him."

"Oh, such big talk for someone who has more than one weaknesses."

"What are you..." His shoulders dropped, he knew what was to come.

"Don't forget, I have your mother." Then the line went dead.

"Hyung, what happened?" Jungkook asked. Behind them, Hoseok emerged from his room, awaiting for incoming commands from his leader. Namjoon, though he was screaming on the inside, had to stay calm for the people in front of him.

"He's going to kill my mother. I have to hurry. Hoseok, please gather the team and meet me at my parents' house. I'm heading there right now." Hoseok nodded and immediately pulled out his phone. Namjoon turned to the boy, "Jungkook, stay here."

"Hyung, what the hell? I'm going with you!" the young one exclaimed.

"I don't have time to argue right now, you're hurt, stay here and rest."

"No. I make my own decision and I'm going with you." he stated firmly. Namjoon reclaimed his breath. He didn't want to put his brother in any more danger but the situation calls for all the help he could get.

"Alright, let's go."
