We are stuck

Luke's POV

That was the sweetest goodbye I've ever seen!! it just made me like Charlie even more! I'm really glad I was able to save Penelope! Cause now Charlie had another reason to stay, and with this trip I'm hoping I can get to know her a little bit better, but I have to do it before Calum gets to her!

Calum's POV

I've never seen someone be that sweet to a little girl... This just makes me like her even more!! This trip will help get to know her better ! But I have to get to her before Luke does!!

Charlie's POV

I noticed all of the tension so I speak up... "So um how did you find Penelope?" I ask all of them... "Well we were at out concert, we were on stage and well think all kind of broke out... She was being pushed into the gate near the stage, so I jumped down and picked her up and brought her with us" Luke explained "oh my gosh! thank you!" I say I go to him and wrap my arms around his torso... He freezes for a second before wrapping his arms around my shoulders, "your welcome" Luke said lowly causing shivers to run down my spine.. We stand there for another minutes or so until someone clears their throat. "can we go please, we don't want to take longer than we are supposed to" we turn around and see it was Calum who said that, "right! sorry um just a little more ways up this way" I say blushing slightly letting go of Luke and start walking towards the exit of the highway. As we were walking down we heard groaning and moaning from behind us... We stop and turn around, there was a large group of zombies, maybe 300 of then just walking towards us... I look around and see we are only about 100 feet away from the gas station... "come on RUN!!" I yell at them.. We all start running to gas station, when we get there, we run right into the building... The zombies starting gathering at the doors and windows... "We are stuck" Paul says.. "really? no duh dipshit!!" Calum yells at Paul "hey! be quiet we don't need to attract anymore, now go check the store for any of the little shits" I say handing them my gun. "Shoot them in the head alright" I say and I watch as Calum and Paul go to the back of the store together... Me and Luke are now 'alone' we start looking around... "Might as well" I hear Luke say, I turn and look at him to see him eating chocolate bars, he was also stuffing his pockets to... I just stood there smirking at him... He looked up "hey don't look at me like that" he said with his mouth full of food! I just chuckle and walk over to him, "ya know this might come in handy one day?" I say while poking it nose, he blushed and looked down.. "Well I'm saying it's coming in handy now!" Luke says eating more chocolate, I just laugh! "let's bring some for the other guys to" I say while taking off my bag that I cleared out while on the bus... And filling it will food and candy, anything we can see that is edible... Somehow we ended up on the floor with my head on his lap, and his back against a shelf talking about memories... "So Ashton broke his drums in the middle of our song Good Girls, so we had to stop the show for a while so we could fix his drums" Luke said while smiling at the memory, I was laughing my ass off.. "Wow that's awesome" I said, right as I was about to say something a gun shot was heard! I sat up straight and jumped to my feet... "Where is Calum and Paul?" I ask Luke... "I have now idea" Luke said walking towards the back... "Wait Luke! I'm coming with you!" I say as I run up to him. "N-" "I'm going deal with it" Luke sighs "alright" he says... When we walked through the door I screamed and his my face in Luke's chest... "CALUM!! WHAT HAPPEND!!" Luke yelled... Causing Calum to look down at his feet... Behind Calum was Paul stomach opened with his organs falling out, his face has chunks bitten out of it to... "I went to go check the rest of the store while Paul took a power nap, I heard him scream so I came running in and this was what was here I killed the zombie first, but I can't shoot Paul in the face." Calum said with tears falling down his face... I run to him and hug him while Luke takes the gun and points it at Paula head... Paula eyes shot open they were cloudy... His jaws started snapping up at Luke, Luke shot him by the temple of his face, but not before saying "I'm so sorry mate" and then pulling the trigger... Calum flinched at the sound his grip tightening around me... His tear were wetting my shirt but I didn't care. I slow long got out of his grip I looked at both of them... "Let's kill those bitches" I walked out of the back room and into the front room... I saw most the zombies have left but about 12 or so were left... I reloaded my gun, "move out of the way, when I say go you need to open the doors and send them in... After they are all dead we get the gas a run back to the bus ok!" "But Charlie it's dangerous!" Luke yelled! "I don't not care open the doors!!" I screamed they just nodded.. "1-2-3" "NOW" they opened the doors and I sho them al in the first try... "Go get the gas I will keep watch" I say as we run to the gas pump.. While they were filling the gas thing we brought I shot down a few zombies, "we are done! let's go!" Calum yelled I turned around and started to run towards the exit, we ran up the exit and back towards the bus.... "There's the bus guys come on we can make it!!" I yell... I look at the window and see Penelope jumping up and down smiling.. The door opened and we ran in slamming the door behind us! "where is Paul" Niall asked I just shook my head and looked down.
