I am absolutely in LOVE with this story!
So today is Emma's birthday. I got her a golden heart locket that looked like this on the front:

Dustin, Lucas, and Mike were planning a surprise party for her, so I asked her to hang out with me until they were done.
So we were snuggling on the couch. I pull out the box I had put the locket in.
"Hey Emma, Happy Birthday."
"Aww! Thanks, Will."
"I got you a little something."
"Oh?"
I give her the box.
"What's this?"
"Open it."
She opens the box and pulls out the locket.
She gasped
"Oh, Will! It's beautiful!"
We kiss.
"I love you, Em."
"I love you too, Will."
After a few minutes, I suggested that we take a walk. She agreed and we went outside.
We walk for a few minutes and Emma asked, "Hey, Will?" I looked at her. "Where do you see this going?"
"To the end of the trail." I say.
"No, no, I mean," She gestured from herself to me and back again. "this, us. Where do you see us going?"
"Oh. Um... I don't know. Maybe one day we'll get married, buy a house. Have a family, maybe even a dog or a cat. As long as I'm with you, I don't care where we go. I love you, Emma. Always have." I say.
"I... I'd like that." She said. "I love you, too, Will."
We continue walking to the end of the trail.
We reach the end and start walking towards her house.
