Oh my god. Today is the anniversary of the day. The day, I decided the rest of my life. The day a single choice could make or break you. The day I became factionless. Haha just kidding! If I was factionless there wouldn't be a story, now would there?! Anyway, this is my story. *Flashback* It was choosing day. Yesterday the aptitude test gave me some answers about myself but not everything I was looking for. My parents told me to choose well. For them or for me, I wasn't sure. Anyway, after eating my cereal, I put on my white sundress, black converse, white eyeshadow, black mascara, I slipped on my leather jacket and curled my hair. Then, I brushed it out making it wavy and ran down into the living room. I hugged my family one last time and walked to the bus stop with my sister, Skylar. We were the same age because we're twins. We walked onto the bus and sat down in the place of the standing Abnegation. I felt guilty about taking their seats and offered it to them. When my sister gave me a puzzled look and the Abnegation said no, I sat down. *At The Choosing Ceremony* I stood between Skylar and an amity girl. A little while later, Johanna Reyes, called Skylar to the altar. Skylar's blood drips into the lit coals, which doesn't surprise me because she's such a free spirit. My heart beats extremely fast at the realization that she just called my name. I walked over to her slowly and took the knife. I haven't made a decision. I can't. "YES YOU CAN AND YOU WILL!" my inner voice shouts at me. I slide the blade against my palm and let the blood drip into the bowl. I glance at my sister and walk over to the Abnegation sector. This is the life I've chosen. *flashback ends*
As to how I met Katie? That's another story.
