Liv's P.O.V:

I pull into the driveway and ring the doorbell, and Zach answers.

"Hey, come on in," He smiles and invites me inside.

"The guys are in the back," He walks through the kitchen and I follow.

He opens the door, and Alex, Luke, and Jake are messing around in the pool with some girl I don't know.

"Hi, I'm Mary, Zach's sister," she greets me, and I smile.

"I'm Liv, a friend of Zach's,"

"Do you wanna tan?" She looks around.

"Yeah, sure," I slip off my shorts and t-shirt and lay down on the ground next to her.

We get to know each other, and she's really nice. I'm happy we met.

"How did you and Zach meet?"

"I was playing basketball in my driveway, and him, Ben, Alex, Jake, and Luke came and talked to me," I laugh, "Then we went to the fair,"

"Do you like him?" She squeals and I laugh.

"Yeah, sorta. I think he's so sweet, and he's really funny. I don't know if he likes me, though," I sigh.

"Honey, trust me, he likes you," Mary points to him playing football in the pool, "I see the way he looks at you,"

"I'm kinda glad that he doesn't want to hang out with my brothers, they'd never let him like me," I roll my eyes.

"Trust me, Zach is the same way! But there's only one of him, you have three," She laughs.

"Consider yourself lucky. Nash's friends are like that too! It's super annoying!" I rant and she laughs.

We continue learning things about each other.

"Why did you move here from Minnesota?" I ask her.

"My dad got a job transfer, and I'm happy it happened. North Carolina is way better than Minnesota!" She giggles.

Zach and Jake come over to us and smirk.

Jake picks me up and throws me over his shoulder, and Zach does the same to Mary.

"Put me down!" Mary yells.

"Jake, stop!" I yell at him, and then I'm in the pool.

"That was rude," Mary and I say in unison, then we start laughing.

We play around in the pool for another hour, then we set up a fire and order pizza.

We all get a can of Arizona and sit in a circle around the small fire.

"Let's play never have I ever," Alex suggests.

"I'll go first," Luke volunteers, "Never have I ever gotten drunk,"

We all take a drink. Mary goes next. "Never have I ever gone past first base with someone," she laughs.

I'm about to take a drink, then the pizza guy comes. Thank god.

We eat and chat, then we make s'mores.

"What time is it?" I ask out of nowhere.

"Eight fifteen," Luke answers.

"Shit, I told Nash I'd be home at eight!" I jump up and grab my bag.

"Thanks for coming," Mary hugs me.

"Thanks for having me! I'll text you later," I tell her. "Bye guys," I wave to Luke, Jake, and Zach.

I get in my car and drive home. I know Nash will be pissed at me, so I sneak in through the front door.
