End of the World [ Male Betrayed OP Reader X RWBY ]

CH. 4 - Wondering, Wondering...

Welp, guess i'm back. Let's get this short chapter over with. Also i moved the Opening above and eh , i pretty much became too lazy to do the op stuff .

Since yesterday, our betrayed protagonist has been sitting still, wondering as to how he can fully control his unkown power, and what it really is. Silence surrounded his tent until a certain black haired female entered his place.

"...So, you're still thinking of whatever happened yesterday?" Raven spoke, sitting down on the edge of the bed where the protagonist was lying down.

"Yeah. I need to know how it works. I can't have it only appear in dire situations." Y/N spoke, sighing as he looked at his hand. "Well, i'm sure i'll figure it out sometime. What do you need?" The male asked, looking back to Raven who had a small smile on her face.

"I need you for a certain mission. One of our units who stole from an Atlas Bullhead have been surrounded by the White Fang who apparently followed the Bullhead too. I need you to rescue them." She spoke, standing up and offering a hand to Y/N who took it as they went to the big tent.

"Wait, a Bullhead somehow, dropped on the middle of the forest?" The male asked, in absolute confusion.

"...One of our scouts reportedly saw the Bullhead come across hundreds of Nevermores." Raven said, not looking back.

"Well that's mysterious." The male sais as they finally reached the tent.

[ Timeskip - ]

Y/N's PoV

Y/N: 'I didn't expect a whole unit of Bandits to be surrounded by some Grimm. But then again, most of these guys are weaker than us.' 

Raven: "Well, i guess you do know how to take care of the White Fang?"

Y/N: "Well yeah, of course i do. I've been taking care of them since i joined Beacon."

Raven smirked and chuckled.

Raven: "Now, stop being arrogant and go on. We need to do this as fast as we can or our unit will not survive."

I nod and walk off, still wondering of how to use that figure that i've encountered thrice.

[ Second Timeskip - ]

I continue walking around the forest until i notice... a signal...? Of smoke? That must be the Bullhead that the Nevermores managed to somehow sink. I run over to the smoke and notice that it was, in fact the fallen ship. But... no bandits in sight. I then notice a trail of Dust. If this was left by a bandit then that's a smart move for people like them. I follow the trail and it leads me to a Cave. Where the teail abruptly ends.

Y/N: "Well, i guess it's time to go in."

I spoke before entering the cave with utmost silence. I can't have them being alert. I pull out two of my daggers and continue down the tight path, until i notice a light. I then hear a voice. Should be the White Fang.

WF soldier 1: "When will the Transfer Vehicle arrive? It's been 30 minutes already."

WF soldier 2: "I don't know, but it should arrive soon."

WF soldier 3: "Yeah, it should. This cave gives me the creeps."

WF soldier 4: "Besides i feel like something bad'll happen if we stay for too long.

Well, it seems like this could be pretty challenging..

3rd Person PoV

As the White Fang soldiers keep on talking, Y/N crawls up behind the one on the very back, telling one of the Bandits to act normal. He then grabs the soldier from behind and covers his mouth, choking him until he passed out. He then sighed to himself, knowing that he couldn't go on full Stealth as one of the soldiers would surely notice. He picks up the soldier's weapon and then slams it against the head of another soldier, alerting the remaining two.

WF soldier 1: "Woah woah! Get him!"

Y/N quickly reacts and runs up to one of the two soldiers, using his daggers to literally chain attack the soldier like in one of those RPG games. The last one grits his teeth and points his gun at one of the Bandits.

WF soldier 1: "Get any closer and i'll shoot!"

Y/N hisses quietly and raises his hands. "Alright mister. Alright. Don't shoot her." He spoke, slowly walking to the soldier which he notices.

The soldier lightly squeezed thr trigger. "Hey hey ! I said, stay away!" He spoke, taking a few steps back.

Y/N sighed and stood still. "We won't get anywhere with this..." He went back to walking towards the soldier, only for the soldier to suddenly pull the trigger.

Y/N's PoV

'Shit! Shit he pulled the trigger!' I quickly ran, as i slowly saw the bullet get closer and closer to the bandit's head. Wait. I was able to see it? I looked around and before i knew it... everything stopped again.

I looked behind me and there it was. That same figure, standing still with it's arms crossed. I realized that i probably won't have too much of a chance so i quickly ran to the girl and took her to the corner. I then looked at the figure, its golden eyes staring right back at me.

"What are you? Why won't you answer me?" I spoke, not getting even a bit of a response. I sighed and looked back at the frozen soldier, and decided to attack him. But right as the thought of attacking him came to my mind, the yellow figure moved in front of me and cocked its fist back.

"...MUDA!" It shouted as it punched the Soldier, yet nothing happened. That is, until everything started moving again. The soldier suddenly got sent flying to the wall, breaking his Aura and knocking him unconscious.

Y/N's PoV

'Woah! That was... amazing! But there's no time to go crazy after a punch.' I thought to myself as i called Raven using the scroll she gave me.

Y/N: "Raven. The White Fang group has been knocked out and the Bandits are secured." I said, looking at the 2 bandits. I then sat down and waited for her to arrive. I guess this mission was successful.
