"okay, lay her down on the bed please jungkook." upon hearing that, the younger male smirked at his upperclassmen. namjoon decided to ignore his childish behaviour and went to search for medical supplies, while jennie didn't hesitate to smack him harshly.

the boy helped her lay down on the bed in the infirmary carefully. jennie was surprised by the obvious effort he was putting into it. a few moments later, their school president hurried over to them, holding a kit in his hands.

"thank god you're not wearing pants," jennie turned beet red when he said that. namjoon realized what he just said and turned slightly pink too, quickly trying to justify himself. "b-because there's no fabric to get rid of now. direct access to the glass, you know."

"y-yeah." the girl stammered back, looking down.

jungkook scoffed at their behaviour, especially at jennie. she was so two-faced. how come she was so meek and shy with namjoon but a complete hulk with him?!

"okay, jennie. i'm just saying this beforehand, but i might have to stitch your leg up. i couldn't find anything to put you under anesthesia with, so it would really hurt... a lot."

"then don't do it." jungkook immediately snapped.

"no, do whatever you have to," jennie said sadly. "i don't want it to get infected."

namjoon nodded his head and grabbed a wet cloth. "don't worry. i promise it'll work out. you might want to hold onto jungkook or something else." he said as he cleaned her thigh. jennie couldn't help but blush again. he was basically touching her thigh— the thought of the cloth disappearing made her blush like crazy.

"one, two," the tweezers came closer to the glass on her thigh. "three."

"ahhh!!" she immediately latched onto jungkook's arm, shocking the boy. "fuck!!"

"it's out," namjoon heaved out. jennie looked down at her leg, nearly barfing at the sight of the fresh cut. she didn't realize that she was still holding jungkook. namjoon inspected the cut and pressed it together a bit, letting blood flow out to clean the wound of any germs. he smiled out of relief. "you're in luck. i don't think you'll need stitches, the wound isn't that deep and it isn't gaping open either."

"r-really?" somewhere along the process, jennie had started crying. she wiped her tears off. jungkook wanted to comfort her, and raised his hand hesitantly, but namjoon beat him to it.

"yeah, so don't worry," he smiled, showing off his dimples again. the boy patted her on her head and wiped a tear away. "we just have to bandage it and maybe find you some crutches. you should put too much weight on your leg."

jennie smiled at him adoringly as he went to find bandages. jungkook looked at him sourly.

"let go of me, fatass," he snapped at jennie. the girl was shocked and quickly released her hold on him, but then scowled and was about to yell at him. "seems like we're done here, i'm heading back."

"uh... sure, go back and see if the others have found the security footage yet."

jungkook nodded his head and walked off, not even bowing to his upperclassmen. why did that namjoon guy have to boss him around all the time? it was so annoying.

he was surprised to see a blonde girl standing by the entrance of the infirmary.

"what?" he snapped at her.

lisa shook her head. "you're so obvious."

the boy scowled at her. "what the fuck is that supposed to mean?" he hissed, pushing her into the hall. "what are you doing here?"

lisa sighed and rolled her eyes. "look, i get that you're pissed that your crush likes someone else, but don't take it out on me. i just came here to see what's up."

"c..crush?" jungkook stammered. he felt heat rising to his face slowly. "wh-what?"

the thai girl just looked at him as if he was the dumbest thing to walk on earth. he might've been.

"whatever, i'm heading back." she said, turning around and leaving him without a single glance spared his way.

jungkook was left on his own, thinking about what she said. was she right? did he really have a crush on that old hag?
