Chapter 3
When Adnan excused himself to go to the toilet, I almost sprained my neck while craning towards Parveen.
"How did you manage to get him into the house without your family noticing!? I bet someone as high-spirited as Zahid could definitely find him hiding around huh?" I asked referring to her youngest brother.
"I know, I was keeping Zahid busy in the study room before you came so he didn't really move around so much", she said very proudly.

I was wondering something for the longest time and decided to just blurt it out to both Parveen and Adnan. "Who's gonna sit in the front?" I asked with a poker face, mentally dreading having to sit beside Adnan who'd be driving of course. Before anyone could reply Zahid came out of the main gate and exclaimed, "if you don't take me with you I am going to tell Mummy your secret!" Parveen widened her eyes and ran over to him, trying to convince him to stay out of this. "Baby we will come back in just half an hour it won't even be fun, what will you do with us?" I bet she was wondering how he knew but decided to shut her mouth for good. "No I don't care I'm sick of being closed up in the house, I want to go out and that's that!!!"
Me and Adnan simultaneously shrugged agreeing with Zahid but for some cooked up reason Parveen was trying her best to get him out of the plan. Eventually me and Adnan managed to drag her into the car and let Zahid take the seat in front. Adnan started his car while I was still opening the door to back seat.
"What, wait" I said clearly taken aback. I took a step back and the door remained open. He seemed to not hear me or was just pretty good at acting so he pressed the accelerator more. I was still surprised he didn't notice the door hanging out like that. I folded my arms and raised my eyebrow. what is this man doing
He stopped the car and honked. What?
I rolled my eyes with a 'finally' written over my face and walked over. As I was about to get in he accelerated the car again. Now I knew he was playing.
I just stood there even when he honked twice. When they realized I was not playing a fool, Parveen and Zahid poked their heads and called out to me, "get in we're getting late!" I rolled my eyes and finally took my seat while looking daggers into the rear view mirror where I saw Mr. Player smirking down at me.
I decided to not stress because of him and ignored his presence completely. Zahid was talking non-stop I don't know what about, and me and Parveen were discussing life looking through the photos on each other's phones.

Adnan walked behind me and Parveen who were holding hands like lovers while Zahid just jumped around touching everything that came in his view. I saw an ice cream stall and suddenly my throat was drying so I suggested we get ice creams. Adnan paid for the ice creams but since I was ignoring him I gave the man behind the stall my part of the expense leaving Adnan fuming. From the corner of my eye I saw him snatch the money from the man and walk towards me. I suddenly pulled Parveen in the women's toilets and Adnan abruptly stopped right when the door shut on his face. I giggled quietly and followed Parveen to the basins.Parveen fixed her lipstick while I just pinned my tarha more firmly and put my niqab back on. Parveen took a lot of time and I was getting restless because we just entered and barely had any time left. She could be a pain in the ass when we get too comfortable with each other. I guess I love her to death but then she's irritating as hell also??
We walked out of the toilet and saw Zahid jumping trying to catch something Adnan was holding high up in the air. Adnan is always teasing everyone around huh? How will I live a whole married life with someone so irritating? Am I really so boring? Do I not like having fun? Wow I'm really confused about myself now, great.
