    (Lilliana's POV)

My team won, like we almost always do. Only one person was it, and it was only a few drops. Everyone else on the other teams were covered in paint.

"Good game. Let's go get cleaned up." I say, laughing and linking arms with some of the girls.

     Thump.

     Thump.

     Thump.

"Do you guys hear that?" I ask. We stop and listen again. Thump.

     "Yeah. We do."

"Let's go check it out." I grab Aries and his sisters hand and drag them with me. We walk out to the backyard with Jax, Aron, and Danny hot on our heels.

"Hello, Katerina." I freeze. I know that voice.

"Oh, please no. Please, please, please no." I whisper, closing my eyes. I haven't heard that voice for so long, I had hopped they'd left. 'Lilliana, what do we do?' Aron asks through the mind link. 'We find out what they want.'

"Katerina? There is no Katerina here." Aries states. "Step out so we can see who you are." They did as they were told. My heart drops to the pit of my stomach. It's them.

"Yes. There is a Katerina here, and you are holding her." Markus's smug smile spreads across his face. He's going to ruin everything.

     "What are you talking about?"

"Ah. I see. You haven't told them, have you Katerina? Oh and I see you still have your friends. Jonathan, Steffen, and James, isn't it?" My boys stiffen at the use of those names.

"Wait, what's going on? Lilly? What are they talking about?" Aries looks at me, just as I wince from the names.

"What to you want?" I hiss.

"Oh, sweetheart, we want you. Or at least, what you have." Someone steps up next to Markus.

       "Killian." I gasp.

       "Hello, kitten. Missed me?"

       "Never."

"Sure. Grab her." Out of this air, two of their minions pop up and grab me. We disappear, then reappear next to Markus, who wraps his hand around my neck claws extended and digging into my skin.

"No! Please not hurt her!" Jax steps up, a look of fear on his face.

"We won't, as long as you give us what we want."

"We don't have it, anymore. We got rid of it years ago." I snap.

"If you do not give us what we want, we will kill you, and leave." Killian threatens.

"Go ahead. Kill me. It won't do you any good." I hiss. Markus's claws dig into my skin, and I feel the sticky warmth of my blood. I suck in a breath as he tears his claws through my neck.

        Everything goes black.
