The Luna's Mate

Flashback

(Lilliana's POV)
    Aries said he had a surprise for me. But I have no idea what it is. My boys are in on it, I know they are, I can see it. He had me meet him on the beach. I walk around, watching as people turn to stare at me and whisper.
   That's weird. I think.
   I continue on my way down the beach, and finally spot Aries. I pick up speed as I get closer to him, only to stop short as I look at the ground. There on the ground, written in white rose petals are the words 'Will you marry me, Lilliana King?' I take a step back as I gasp. Aries walked towards me and grabs my hand.
   "Lilly, your my best friend, my true love, my mate. I love you with all my heart and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Your everything I want, and everything I need. Your my oxygen. Without you I am nothing. So please," he kneels down on his right knee. He then reaches in his right jacket pocket and pulls out a red velvet box. Opening it I see a beautiful engagement ring. "Will you marry me?"
    Tears pricked my eyes as I took in the sight of my mate. My hand comes up on its own accord and covers my mouth. I nod my head slowly.
   "Yes." I whisper.
   "What? Speak up, love, I can't hear you." He teases. I know very well he can hear me.
    "Yes." I say louder. I jump I to his arms. "Yes, yes, yes. A thousand times, yes." I laugh. He spins me around and around, chuckling as he does. He sets me down and cups my face gently in his hands. He kisses me softly before pulling away.
   "Our life has just begun, kitten." He whispers. "I love you so damn much." He says as he slips the ring on my finger.
  "I love you so damn much too."
