Katie's P.O.V

Today was Satuday, a week after my birthday. It was the day I would finally get to see Little Mix perform live. I ran downstairs  to the kitchen following the smell of freshly cooked pancakes. My mum had a stack of them on the table for me and I ate them quickly before thanking her and running back upstairs and posting on Twitter about the concert. The concert was at 4:00 and me and Jess wanted to be the first ones there. Jess was coming to my house first then we would drive to the place the concert was being held. Tyler was also coming over before she had to leave on her family trip. They arrived around 12:00 and we went for lunch at Nandos since Jess begged. After we ate we went shopping for a bit until Tyler left. It was already 1:00 so Jess and I headed to the concert.

The place was packed at around 3 and me and Jess were just glad we got there at 1:30. We had seats in the third row and also had a clear view of the stage. The screen on behind the stage lit up after a short time and a modified version of wings played in the background. Flashes of messages showed on the screen, 'Trust yourself', 'be your own kind of beautiful', 'you are who you are', and small clips of Little Mix's music videos. I screamed with excitement when four pictures flashed onto the screen one at a time of each of the girls. Words appeared on the screen with each picture, We. Are. Little. Mix. Before it went blank and the stage lit up and Little Mix started singing We Are Who We Are.

The rest of the concert was amazing. My favourite parts were when Jade waved to me, well probably not me bit someone near me, and when they were singing Red Planet and DNA. Jess and I headed towards the doors with the rest of the crowd after it finished. "Did you enjoy yourself?" Jess asked, already knowing the answer. "Yes, it was amazing, I loved it." I replied thanking her again for the tickets before texting Tyler to tell her how the concert was and to thank her as well. We weren't even halfway to the nearest exit when someone collided with me, falling over and almost knocking me over. "Oh my god I'm so sorry are you okay?" I asked offering her a hand up. "Yeah I'm fine" she assured me in her Geordie accent. Wait a Goerdie accent? I got a better look at her face and I realised...It was Perrie.

I was glad to be off stage after the final song and I almost ran to the exit to get outside for some fresh air. I tried to blend in with the crowd in case anyone came looking for me, I didn't want them to find me yet. I was too busy in a hurry to get outside then I wasnt looking where I was going and I ran into someone, falling to the ground. The girl I ran into helped me up and apologised for knocking me over, even though it wasn't her fault, it was mine for being the clumsy person that I am. She looked about 18 years old. The girl stared at me for a moment before apparently recognising who I was. "Oh my god. Perrie?" She asked with a look of awe on her face. Argh not now I just want to get out of here without any obsessed fans. I really did love our fans but sometimes I just wanted to get away. I put on my best fake smile and talked to her a bit, signing a few posters and cds before her friend took a photo of us and I was finally able to leave.

"I cannot believe I just ran into Perrie Edwards." I said when me and Jess got to my car. "I know. You should've seen your face when you realised it was her, I thought your eyes were going to pop out of your head." she laughed. "shut up, you would've been the same if you ran into Harry Styles" she knew it was true. We talked a bit more on the way home about the concert and I posted the picture of me and Perrie on Twitter.

It was 7:00 by the time I got home after dropping Jesy back at her place. I ate the pasta that my mum had cooked before going upstairs to bed thinking what it would be like to be a pop star like Perrie. There were some moments in my life where I just wished I was her.

The girls and I got back to the hotel around 6:00. Since it had been such a great day we decided to try and cook something for dinner instead of going out or ordering something. Cooking was more fun because we were all terrible at it and it was funny when we screwed it up. We decided on Nacho's since it was easy to make and Leigh was expert so at least it would taste normal. I ate quickly and went to bed around 9:00. I was just so tired and I couldn't get that girl from today out of my head. Her life seemed so normal, easy. I found myself wanting to be like her, to not be famous, to not have fans screaming everytime they saw me. I just wished I could be normal, for at least a day. As I drifted off to sleep I felt like I was floating. As if I were no longer on my bed in the hotel. As if I were being transported to another place in the world
