Charlie was at his locker when he felt someone tap on his shoulder. He flinched but looked over to see who it was. It was that boy again, Alex. Charlie felt releived and smiled a little. He gave the boy a wave and grabbed his books before closing his locker.
"Hey Charlie" Alex yawned. He held an ice-coffee in his hand. He looked like he needed it too. "So, are you the Charlie that missed Mrs.Harmons class yesturday? She was taking attendance and called out your name but you weren't there". Charlie's smile droped as he was reminded of yesturday. He took out a small notebook from his pocket and wrote down a message for Alex.
'I didn't make it to her class on time and I got too nervous to go in'
"I see" Alex said reading the note. He put a hand on Charlie's shoulder. "Don't worry, I've missed classes before. And I'm sure Mrs.Harmon will understand. If not, we'll take on her rath together" Alex chuckled. Charlie smiled a little and nodded. The two of them then walked together to Harmons classs.
