Phantom and Siren did not have good feelings about the scream they had heard. It may seem sad, but the two had learned to identify certain situations based on what they hear. Especially the siren of the two brothers.

They knew that it was no human that they were on their way to rescue. Especially since this whole "invasion" thing was all being done by humans. They only had a few mystic and ghost allies. If demons joined them, it was probably by masquerading as mystics or ghosts, which wasn't hard for most of them. But the more non-human looking ones like creepers and furies stayed in the shadows of the Underworld and away from all this. Didn't help most demons that have had acquaintances vanquished by the twin brothers in the past or one of their many allies.

Another terrified scream pierced their eardrums and was becoming louder by the minute as the team ran.

"We're almost there," Miss.Martian exclaimed, over the Mind Link.

"Impulse, get whoever is in trouble to safety," Nightwing ordered. "Robin, Miss.Martian, Red Arrow, Beast Boy, disappear and surround the attackers. The rest of us will approach head-on."

Everyone nodded in agreement and quickly followed his commands. Robin, Red Arrow, and Beast Boy took to the rooftops. Miss.Martian pulled her hood over her head while going into Camouflage mode. Impulse sped away with lightning trailing behind him while the rest of the Team continued to sprint down the street.

The speedster from the future sped around the corner of the block, using the sound of the screams as his guide. He found the source coming from an old dark alley between two shops that seemed to be poorly taken care of.

"Figures, robbers are so not crash," Impulse mumbled to himself.

The speedster zoomed into the alleyway and stopped briefly to observe the scene in the alley. And he was horrified by what he saw.

A dim light of the building next door lit the alleyway. On the other side of the alleyway, was a boarded-up abandoned department store or something. Closest to the store was a burly man of six foot three. Black clothing, black mask, and a black gun.

"Typical robber," was the first thing that came to Impulse's mind.

Speaking of the gun, it was currently pointed at Phantom and Siren, who seemed to be protecting someone behind them,

Impulse couldn't get a good look at the person but could see that there was a slight glow behind the twins. Before he could even try to get a better line of sight, the robber started firing at the ghost and siren teens. His musical teammate managed to throw up his golden shield just in time to take the barrage of attack. It didn't even look like normal bullets being fired. More like bullet-like shots of green energy.

The speedster dashed towards the man and swiped the gun out of his hands. To say the man was shocked would be an understatement, he was completely dumbfounded. And before the man could snap out of his state of shock, an arrow with a boxer glove knocked the man out. An instant KO.

Impulse sighed in disappointment as the team arrived.

"I thought that might've been a bit more exciting, turns out it was just another crook," he complained over the link.

The response, however, was a bit shocking.

"I would really appreciate it if you would shut up," Danny said.

The Team looked at Phantom, who in turn was giving Impulse a menacing glare.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! What did I do," Impulse putting his hands up in protest.
