The team could hardly believe what was happening right in front of them. This was a mystic they had never met before. And they have certainly never seen powers like his before. Beast Boy, in particular, seemed to really be amazed by the crystal animals that he had called... summoned... conjured... they didn't know.

"I always knew you were pathetic, Aragon," the boy glared at the dragon.

"You dare talk to me, you abomination," Aragon roared at him.

"Better an abomination than a traitor to your kind," the boy threw back. "Just because you hate Prince Phantom does not give you the right to betray the entirety of the Ghost Zone."

"What would you know about the Ghost Zone," if a dragon could sneer, Aragon certainly would be. "You don't even know anything about your own home, not that you are even welcome there."

"I think the only one that doesn't know anything is you," the boy counters. "After all, what type of dragon has no relation to the Isle of Dragons."

Aragon simply huffed and let out a breath of smoke into the mystical boy's face.

"Like a prince, such as myself, would ever be caught dead in that volcanic dump," he growled, insulting the isle at the same time.

"Well, you're not a prince anymore, are you," the boy taunted.

"Why is an abomination like you still talking to me," the dragon growled at him again, breathing more smoke into his face.

"Oh, for the love of the gods," he waved the smoke away from him. "Ever thought about using a breath mint?"

That finally seemed to annoy Aragon so much that he let out his breath of fire right at him. But the emerald turtle was suddenly in front of him, blocking the flames once again.

"So cool," Gar gasped, staring at the animals.

He had been curious about mystical animals since he met the twins. He had used his powers to shapeshifter into alien animals before when he, his sister, and Superboy went to Ran in order to help clear the Justice League's good name. He had changed into an animal that looked like a cross between a lizard, bird, and ostrich. It was weird but helped him blend into the planet's real animals as a sort of "hiding in plain sight" kind of thing.

He hoped that he could change into some magical animals if alien animals were possible. But he did not get his hopes up for these gem beasts, as the crystals on them are inorganic so they would be impossible for him to form. He did wonder about animal forms of werewolves and the other were-creatures, though.

"You'll never learn, will you, Aragon," the boy rolled his eyes.

He brought out another gem, this time it was a sapphire. Only this time, he threw it in the air. I'm a flash, the gem was replaced by a beautiful pegasus. It was mainly an elegant white horse with stunning white feather wings. Sapphire crystals were around its ankles, down the back of its head like a mane, and one circular crystal on each wing.

"Who even is this guy," Karen wonders.

"I don't know, but he is helping us so I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth," Roy says.

Aragon breathed more fire at him. As his turnstile blocked the flames again, the boy did a backflip and then back-springed upward using his hands. He landed right on his pegasus' back.

"He's definitely got skills," Impulse whistled, impressed. "Totally crash."

The topaz tiger rushed at the dragon. It clawed at Aragon's legs and stomach, not quite big enough to jump up to claw his head, wings, or claws. The emerald turtle even got in the action by spinning like a top, ramming into the dragon as if it was launched like a pinball. The boy would ride his pegasus around the dragon's head, the pegasus kicking the dragon with its hooves. If anything, they were annoying him so much that he was no longer paying attention to the heroes.
