Chapter 1

Y/N POV

Y/N: I'm one of the seven deadly sins, the sin of pride. And my name, is lion sin Escanor.

Leader: Pretty ballsy to claim to be the one who stands at the pinnacle of all races. You are undoubtedly the cockiest bastard I've met.

He gives off a hearty laugh. I do the same, and I slam my axe through his chest.

Y/N: And that is the sin of pride.

His torso is launched through a few tables, and the gang looks terrified.

Y/N: I was hoping he'd actually put up a fight. What a pity.

I turn towards the gang members, and they stare at me in fear. One ended up pissing his pants.

Y/N: If you wish to live, don't ever show your faces around my tavern ever again.

In a flash, they all ran out, screaming for their lives. Needless to say, I don't think they wanted to piss me off, not that they could. They were significantly weaker than I am. I look down at the corpse of the leader. I better dispose of it. I grabbed the body, and I set it ablaze behind my tavern. After watching it burn, I decided to make a call. I rang up Ozpin on my scroll.

Ozpin: Hello?

Y/N: Ozpin, it's Y/N. I'm gonna take you up on your offer.

Ozpin: Excellent. I'm elated to hear that you've taken up the offer to make a difference in the world. I will have a bullhead come and pick you up at once.

Y/N: No need. How high is Beacon Academy, and to what direction from Vale?

Ozpin: Ummm... Three miles above ground, and maybe... 20-25 degrees north-northeast? Why?

I hang up, and I take a massive leap. I soon fly above the clouds, and it's peaceful.

Y/N: Hmmm... so peaceful, and quiet. I wish I could be in the clouds forever.

I soon descend, and I see beacon below me.

Y/N: Hmmmm... if I were a soldier, what would I do? Hmmmm...

I smirk, and I see a few people in the courtyard.

Ruby POV

I'm walking in the courtyard with my team since it's a day off for us, and we hear something weird.

Ruby: Does anyone hear anything?

Weiss: Sounds like... a war cry?

(Imagine it getting louder until impact.)

Soon, something hits the ground, and it gets really hot for us.

Y/N POV

Well, I think that he would be proud of my achievement in a successful announcement. I look up out of the ground, and I see four girls standing in front of me.

???: Are you hurt mister? We can take you to the medical wing if we...

They suddenly get nose bleeds, and I tilt my head.

Y/N: Your noses are bleeding. I do believe it is you who needs medical attention more than I do. Now, I'm afraid I came here without a proper idea of where to go. How do I look for Ozpin?

The blonde girl is the first to speak.

???: Um... you go down that way, make a left, and the elevator will take you to his office, handsome~.

Soon enough, they all pass out. My first guess is heat exhaustion. I proceed to walk, and I reach the elevator. I push the top floor, and I'm ascending to Ozpin's office, I'm assuming. Soon enough, I reach the office floor.

Ozpin: When you asked me for beacon's coordinates, I didn't think you were gonna jump here. You're a man of many talents, Escanor.

Y/N: Please, I only use that as an alias. You can call me by my real name, Ozpin.
