Chapter 2

Aaliyah in multimedia ^^

Once getting home , Aaliyah takes a quick shower and put on her lounge clothes.

She gets in the bed and thinks about everything that occurred today.

Her mind goes back to Diggy's abs , the hug , the kiss and everything. It just kept replaying over and over in her head.

She decided to go check her mailbox. Aaliyah and Andrew live in a fancy apartment complex; which completely satisfies Aaliyah.

Once she opened her door , she saw men bringing in furniture to the door next to hers.

Excitement filled Aaliyah realizing her uptight neighbors finally moved out and now someone else is moving in.

She took the elevator downstairs and walked across the parking lot to the mailbox.

"Bills , bills , and more bills." Aaliyah says under her breath , becoming annoyed at the reality of life.

She became more of an independent woman this last year since she got married. She was always under her parents wings and never really took care of herself.

Walking back in the building , she spots a new black Lamborghini pulling up to the building. The windows were tinted , so it made it difficult for her to figure out who the mysterious person was.

She continues to walk not paying any mind to the person.

"Welcome Aaliyah." Cal says as Aaliyah walks into the drink shop.

"Hello Ms. Cal" Aaliyah responds to the old woman.

"What would you like today ?" She asks going towards the back.

"I think I'll take some hot ginger tea please."

"Okay sweetie , I'll be back."

Once she gets her tea , she makes her way back up to her 3rd floor.

"Yeah , bruh I just got this new place and it's fly. It's like an apartment but it's real-" Diggy says.

Aaliyah immediately drops her glass of tea when she realizes Diggy standing beside her door.

"Hold up , imma call you right back." Diggy says , hanging up the phone and looking at a puzzled Aaliyah.

Aaliyah bends down picking up the pieces of glass to avoid contact with Diggy.

"I got you ma." He says trying to help.

"No , I can do it by myself." Aaliyah says not looking up.

"Go ahead , I can finis-"

"Can you please leave me the hell alone ? Why the hell you moving here in the first place? Like damn , I just can't get away from you . You my Waiter , client , now my neighbor." Aaliyah says storming into her apartment.

Rudeness never takes over her , but she tries to stay far away from Diggy knowing he might bring her trouble.

Diggy stands in the hall just shocked at her response.

"Yoo ass just got told out ma nigga" one of the movers says.

"I'm paying yo big black ass , so don't say nothing cuz it's coming out your paycheck." Diggy shouts at him.

Aaliyah goes in the kitchen and makes her a bowl of buttery popcorn and turn on Love&Basketball in the living room.

Knock knock.

Without thought , Aaliyah gets up and opens the door without seeing who it was .

"Oh hell no." She says seeing Diggy in her door way.

She closes the door , but Diggy stuck his foot in the doorway , avoiding the door from closing.

"What do you want?" Aaliyah says rolling her eyes and becoming annoyed.

"Well , I do have this cut on my hand that needs to be treated. I think some glass got in it." He says smiling ear to ear.

"Go treat it then." Aaliyah says still trying to close the door.

"I'm not going anywhere until you treat it."

"Hurry up." She says opening the door and going to her bathroom. "Give me your hand."

Diggy obeyed , as Aaliyah puts ointment on the cut and put a band aid on it.

"You happy?" Aaliyah says looking up at him.

"Well something else would make me feel better." Diggy says lifting Aaliyah up on the counter top.

"No Diggy , I can't do this , I'm married and my husba-" she was cut off by a moan escaping from her as Diggy left wet marks on her neck.

"I'm home honey!!" Andrew says walking into the apartment.

Aaliyah immediately jumps down from the counter top and wipes the wet spots from her neck.

"I'm coming." She says signaling for Diggy to follow after her.

"Soo babee , I would like for you to meet our new neighbor Diggy Simmons." She says as they shake hands.

"Nice to meet you Diggy."

"I accidentally cut his hand on some glass , so the least I could do was treat it. " Aaliyah says giving off an unsure look.

Andrew nodded showing he understood.

"Well , I guess I'll get going." Diggy says walking out. "Nice meeting y'all again."

"You too." Andrew says.

Aaliyah gives off a sigh of relief knowing she didn't get caught.

"You ok babe?" Andrew asks looking at his wife in confusion.

"Yes , I'm good. I'm just gonna go to sleep." Aaliyah says walking to her bedroom and letting sleep take over her.
