Blaine had been acting weird for a while now. No one usually noticed it, the first time he missed rehearsal everyone thought that he just had too much homework. But then, it became a regular occurrence. People in glee club would ask him if he was okay, or if something came up, or maybe was even quitting glee club. He, being a great actor, always said that he was fine, just had a lot of homework. But then, something happened. He kept showing up to school and rehearsals and such without his hair gel. Only a few people that were close to Blaine realized before this point, but this got even Puck, Santana, and Britney's attention. Then, even they started asking questions, but, he would always play it off as if he ran out of gel and couldn't buy more yet, or he just had too much homework to come to rehearsal. Some people in the group, like Rachel and Kurt, could tell that he was lying. So, one day they decided to follow him.
