Stuck in California

Landed in Cali..

hi everyone, it's been awhile since i update this! i'm so sorry ❤️❤️ but i'm back :) -author

I just got off my flight! I'm glad I can say it went smoother than I expected. Mom & I are currently trying to find a Starbucks in the airport. We're having withdraws! It's been a longggg day. Also NOTE TO SELF: never order snacks on an airplane, they suck!!

Grandpa picked me & mom up from the airport. He looks devastated:/ I hate seeing my family sad. This has got to be the second most toughest thing I've gone through. In case you're wondering.
1st in place: dad leaving
2nd: grandma passing
3rd: that one time i walked out of the bathroom with toilet paper stuck to my pants

We've arrived at grandpa's house. I'm going to unpack & then hit the hay. I'm desperate for some good night's sleep right now.

Good morning guys :) today is the day before grandma's funeral. But today we're going to go out & spend some time with grandpa in all the cool parts of Cali. If I'm right, I think we're going to the beach. I hope I make some friends here. Mom says there might be a possibility we're moving here to support grandpa, since he's all alone now :/

Hey guys! I'm currently at the beach, there's so many cute guys here, not gonna lie.

*3rd person POV starts here*

Luna's enjoying the beach. It's really taking her mind off the tragedy. She's soaking up the sun & feeling good about herself today. Luna was lying in the sand with peace & quiet when all of a sudden, her stomach let out a growl.
"I better go get some food from that food truck" Luna thought to herself.
So she made her way to food truck.
"Wow... That guy in front of me is hella cute. OMG he looked at me!" Luna blushed.

"Hi! Two slices of avocado toast & a caramel iced coffee please." Says Luna
"Coming right up!"

Luna felt out of place, she felt like she forgot to do something. When suddenly she realized she didn't pay. She immediately felt very bad & went back up there to pay.
"Oh ma'am, the guy in front of you left $10 to pay for you!" Says the cashier.
"Oh wow! I had no idea. Thank you"

Luna whirled around & looked all across the beach to see if she could find the boy.
SPOTTED! There he is right by the shore. Luna wanted to go thank him for his nice gesture so she began to walk over to him.

"Hi I'm Luna, nice to meet you. I just wanted to thank you for paying for me. That was so sweet of you. I can pay you back if you'd like?"

"That's a beautiful name. I'm Giovanny. Also, please don't pay me back, it was my pleasure."

"It meant a lot, I've been having a hard week & little things like that can just make someone feel much better" She said, with a smile.

"So listen.. I'm gonna be honest. I think you're really cute & I'd really like to take you out sometimes. What do you say, Luna?"

Luna was really nervous, she didn't know what to say!
