Connor decided to call Y/N's best friend, Rosetta, for his plan of asking Y/N's hand in marriage.

"Rosetta, I have a plan. But I'll be needing your help." Connor stated.

Rosetta groaned, "What is it, Ball?"

"Y/N's birthday is happening next week right? I'm planning a huge surprise for her, I'll ask her hand in marriage at her very birthday" Connor exclaimed as Rosetta nods.

"What about it? You need help in sending Y/N away for a while as you work things out?" Rosetta queried, causing Connor to gasp. "No! Of course not! I'm planning to talk to her and ask her for a break later this day so I could perfectly plan this. I'll even ask her parents to join me. Will you help me and accompany her the whole week to make sure she doesn't do something stupid to herself?" Connor hesitated as Rosetta sighed.

"Fine. You better not make her do anything stupid, Ball. I swear, I'll rip your head off if Y/N comes to me complaining how you wanted to end things." Rosetta barked.

"I won't, I swear. Just make sure to accompany her, okay? Thank you so much, Rosetta!"

"Don't thank me yet, Ball! Make sure this plan of yours will not fail." Rosetta groaned as she ended the call.

["I cannot believe I agreed to his plan. Such a stupid fuck you are, Rosetta." Rosetta scoffed.]

Connor and Y/N met later that day, as Connor planned. But he made sure to call Rosetta for Y/N's safety.

Connor invited Y/N to a park near his house. "Y/N, I know this might sound off. But I want to take a break" Connor mumbled causing Y/N to furrow her eyebrows.

"Pardon? I cannot hear you, Con" Y/N requested.

"I want to take a break Y/N, just for a week" Connor hesitated as Y/N stare at him.

"Why?" Y/N asked, with tears threatening to fall from her eyes. Connor hissed, he didn't want to see Y/N crying, let alone him being the reason.

"I... Its just I wanna do something by myself. But I swear, Y/N, I'll be coming for you as soon as I've done it." Connor assured, though he's certain that this assurance didn't do anything with Y/N's sadness.

Connor decided to leave, but before he left, he pulled Y/N for a bone crushing hug and kissed her passionately. He'll miss her, but his plan has to be done.

"I love you, Y/N. I promise, after a week. I'll come running to you. I'm really sorry, but I have to do this" Connor reminded and he left.

Y/N had no idea what to do. She just got dumped.

She finally let go, she started to cry. Rosetta hurriedly went to her side to comfort her.

Y/N looked up and saw her best friend. Rosetta cussed. She shouldn't have agreed with Connor's plan, now her best friend's devastated.

"Connor. H-he wanted to have a break Rosetta. I don't get it. Why? Why did he needed a break at this very time that I needed him?" Y/N cried. Rosetta thought, 'That shit fuck. I really shouldn't have agreed on his stupid plan'
