"Dinner Date"

It was lunch time on campus for Colton and he couldn't take the chance to pass up talking to Cami. He still had feeling for her but Shawn would kill him like he almost did before. Colton didn't care though, technically Colton like Cami first and talked about her first to Shawn when he talked bad about her in high school. Colton hated those days but couldn't stand when Shawn talked about Cami like that.

Colton came back to reality when his phone went off, he got a text from Cami. Speaking of the angel, he thought. He was really nervous to look at the message but he was glad when he did because she actually just wanting to hang out for dinner.

Colton texted back, Sure, I would love to take you to dinner. What about Shawn?

Cami respond, Your cute. I meant we can all have dinner together. Besides, I know you have a bunch of studies to get though so, come to my house around 4 or I can pick you up at your dorm?

Colton sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Fuck, of course.. With him." He said out loud to himself. He then responded, Okay, sure.. That would work, thanks love.

Colton honestly didn't care about Shawn or if Cami was with Shawn, he honestly hated him. He took his girl and it was the most biggest mistake of his life to get her taking away from him. Now, he had his chance and he wasn't going to let anything ruin it.

It was almost time for dinner and Shawn didn't really know that she was having company over. After she invited Colton over, Shawn called and said he had to work later tonight because they had a late meeting at the company. Cami got dinner ready and texted Colton saying she would be at the dorm soon.

When Colton came out, she smiled and got out of the car to hug him.

"Hey, how are you?" She asked, hugging him tighter.

"I'm really good now, thanks for inviting me really. I hope i'm not too much trouble..." He half smiled at her.

"Colton, your always welcome. Your one of my really good friends, whatever you need.. look to me." Cami said, smiling.

"Oh, i'll definitely keep that in mind." Colton smirked, he loved that he was going to be with Cami tonight but hated that her boyfriend was going to be there. "So Shawn, is he doing good?" He asked.

Cami smiled at the mention of his name, "Yeah hes doing great, he actually can't join us for dinner though because he has this meeting at work."

Colton lite up when Cami said that but then tried to act natural, "Awh, that's really too bad.. I was uhm, hoping to see him, maybe another time. " She heard him say before she looked at him. After a intense staring battle, Cami decided that they should probably get going. When they arrive at Cami house, she forgot that Colton hasn't been there yet.

"Oh, uhm.. Do you want a tour? I totally forgot that you haven't been here yet.." She said putting her stuff down on the table and turning to Colton. She had to admit that he was way more attractive now then back in high school. She earned a nod from Colton and she started to show him around the large house.

"Uhm, this is my painting room.. I haven't been working much because of class but yeah." She said, looking at the wall full of her own drawings.

"Wow, they're beautiful.. Your house is beautiful.." Colton commented, looking at the art on the walls. His eyes couldn't help but fall onto Cami, she was smiling at her outwork. He knew that she was proud of herself but would never admit it out loud. Suddenly he said, "You're beautiful.."
