[HIATUS] Heart Signal (Prince of Tennis Fanfiction)

Prologue

"You so weak, Yui!" said little boy swing his tennis racquet in air.

"No! I'm not weak, you just too stronger!" said little girl with black hair named Yui.

"Hahaha, that's why you need more practice to beat me!" said the boy as he messed Yui's hair.

"Stop, I hate that!" Yui said as she smacked the boy's hand. "Do you really need to go?"

"Yeah. That's why, if we meet again in the future, you have to become more stronger!" said the boy as he walked away.

"You don't have to say it, I will! Just look ____!"

Tut.... Tut... tut...

A girl with black hair slowly opening her eyes. She looks around to find an unfamiliar room. There a machine that detects your heart pulse near her. She tries to move her hand but can't.

"Where... am I? Why I can't... move?" the girl asks in weak voice.

"Huh? You- You finally awake my child! Ruka, call the doctor now!" says a woman in surprise to boy next her.

The boy with black hair named Ruka nods and run outside the room. The girl stares to the woman who sitting next to her and crying. There is a man standing behind her, who wears a blue suit whipping tears that come out from his eyes.

"Who are they? Why they crying?" the girl asks to herself.

Not long after, a man with white coat come rushing inside the room with Ruka. He takes out the stethoscope and checks the girl. After that, the doctor lets out sigh of relief.

"I can't believe it. She is alive," the doctor says as he holds the girl's hand. "Yui-san, can you hear me?"

The girl who being call with 'Yui' only keeps silent. The doctor feels something weird. He asks the other people to go outside which makes them confuse.

"What? Is there something wrong with my daughter?" asked the man who wears a blue suit.

"We still can't confirm that, therefore we need to have an examination first," explain the doctor.

Hearing that, they start to leave the room. After they left, the doctor sits next to Yui.

"I will ask again. Yui-san, can you hear me?" the doctor asks in warm voice.

"Who... is Yui?" Yui asks in low voice. Hearing that, the doctor wide his eyes and ask question to her again.

"Do you remember what happened to you?"

"Um... No..."

"Do you recognize the peoples inside this room earlier?"

"....... No."

"Okay, I will ask last question. What is your name?"

"My name? My name is.... My name... I..."

The girl looks lost. She can't remember anything. The doctor let out a sad smile. He strokes Yui's hair, then look at her seriously.

"Yui-san, please don't surprise and listen to me calmly. You have amnesia," says the doctor.

"... What?" Yui asks surprise.
