ㅡbirthday boy 02ㅡ

Alice couldn't help but sob when she saw her members post about Namjoon. She still hadn't reached home yet, her flight had gotten cancelled, and how she is in a hotel in Manila, waiting for another booking of a flight.

She missed her members so much, and was absolutely devastated when she couldn't meet two of the birthday boys.

Her phone began to ring as she quickly wiped her tears and inhaled a deep amount of air before answering the call.

"Hello?"

"Hi noona."

She paused, immediately pressing a hand to her lips to suppress a sob.

"Hi birthday boy," She started, swallowing, "I can't wait to meet you all day after tomorrow."

"Thank you, noona....I miss you."

Alice really had to shut her mouth and eyes. She felt like crying on the spot then and there, but it wasn't right to. So she smiled, and yeeted a falling tear out of her face.

"I love you, Joon. I'll see you soon, just wait. Noona has so much gifts for you and Kookie." She replied, laughing a bit when she referred to herself in third person.

"Can't wait to see you again. I think I'll be back home in two days too haha." He chuckled, before sighing.

"Miss you."

"I miss you too."

Silence.

"I love you, alot."

"And I love you more. It's late there, right?"

"Yeah."

"So, take good night rest. I'll speak to you in the morning, okay?"

"No, let's talk more please."

"Wow, okay. Since it's your birthday, I'm sacrificing my sleep."

The two of them laughed whole heartedly, and although they were miles apart, they always found a way to connect.

"So, what did you do in the vacation?"

"Well, you know how I went to visit my parents, I also went and visited my older brother. He's planning to visit Japan for a while, since his boyfriend is there."

"Oh right, is Shaun hyung dating someone good?"

"Yeah, recently Shaun has started to date this Japanese man for a while. I think he lives in Tokyo."

"That is fantastic!"

"It is, how's your parents and lil' sister?"

"They're doing great. Quite upset that I didn't come home with you, though."

"Oh my god, they're so obsessed with me, haha!"

"I think they are, oh my gosh they never stop talking about you."

"When I visited Maria, she could only talk about you! I think she has a little crush on you." She began to giggle like a little girl.

"Oh please, you know I'm not looking for a relationship right now." He replied, smirking on the other line.

"You're so straight, Joon-ah."

"You've said that joke way too many times."

"Straight jokes is greater than gay-"

"We all know that's not true-"

"I'm literally half gay-"

"That's also not true, you're bisexu-"

"I'm into pussy and dick-"

"Why do I talk to you?"

The laughs only grew louder as she began to slowly lie down back on the bed.

She could hear sniffles and coughs.

"Joonie, you sick?"

"No, I'm okay. I just forgot to turn the heater on today, so i basically bathed in cold ass water today. I'm okay thought."

"Oof, I'll spoil you well enough when we meet again."

"I know."

"Of course you do."

"Happy birthday." She whispered, finally letting a tear slip.

"Thank you. I can't wait to see you and spend time with you. I missed you way too much."

"I missed you too. I love you, I think I'll sleep now."

"I should too, it's already two in the morning here."

"Wow, goodnight Joon."

"Goodnight, bye."

And then the line cut. And that's when she wiped her falling tears and replaced her frown with a smile.

She can't wait to meet the birthday boys.
