"Please, I don't want to go to school today Jake! I'll stay in my room, I won't annoy you I promise!" I begged my older brother, Jake, afraid for what awaited for me at school.

"It's not that you will annoy me love, I would love for you to stay with me 24/7 but I don't want you to lose valuable education that I missed out on." He hugged me and soothingly rubbed the back of my head. I gave in, not wanting to have to tell him about the people at school.

"Fine, I'll go grab my schoolbag." I let go of him and walked into my room. He grabbed the keys to his car and walked out to the car, with me following not long afterwards. We both got in the car, Jake drove me to school like usual and dropped me off out the front. Watching until I got into the school grounds and then leaving. As soon as he was out of sight, I quickly walked behind the Library where nobody would find me. I sat against the building like usual and plugged in my headphones, listening to Black Veil Brides. This is how it was every day. Hide from people, listen to music and go to class. The hard part was going to class. I didn't want to enter that hell-hole. While I sat I cherished the music and took in the lyrics. When the bell rang I got up and slowly went to class. Walking past people who took completely no notice of me. I arrived at science and put my bag on the rack. I pulled all of my books out of my bag cautiously and walked towards the class. Suddenly all of my stuff was knocked out off my arms and dropped all over the floor. I knelt down and picked them all up, not looking at the person who had done it, expecting it to be Chloe or Natalie or some other mean girl that would do things like that. I stood up and accidently caught eye-contact with the culprit.

"Shit, I'm so sorry." He said nervously. He had thick, jet black hair straightened out while all fuzzed up at the back. I was captured by his brown eyes and pale skin, with a lip and nose peircing. He was slightly taller than me, quite thin. I stuttered over my words and looked down at the ground.

"Don't mention it." I muttered shyly. I quickly walked in class and sat at the back on my own as usual. I didn't want to talk to this mysterious stranger, with his skinny jeans and his leather jacket. He seemed too good to be true. Which was the case most of the time. I kept her head down and opened my book, starting with the work on the board. The teacher stood up the front, lecturing the class on neutrons and electrons and stuff I had learnt ages ago. The mysterious guy sat a few seats away at the back on his own aswell. I tried to focus on my work without getting distracted, without much luck. I was unfamilar with my own behavour, I never notice anyone ever really. I was finishing a sheet I was given when someone spoke to me.

"Hey, Dumbass. How did you manage to get someone like him?" Chloe whispered from infront of me and laughed at her own 'joke'. Natalie and Carly both laughed next to her, still looking at the front.

"Leave me alone Chloe." I tried to sound as threatening as I could without success.

"No, seriously. You guys were hitting it off before class. How?" She giggled.

"I don't know what you think 'hitting it off' means but it doesn't mean speaking for two sentences." I corrected and kept writing, not giving eye-contact.

"Well I guess you're right, I don't think even he would like you." I fought back the urge to just walk out of class. Like every lesson I have with Chloe and her friends.  I ignored her and just continued with my work. She hit my pen and it knocked out of my hand, landing on the ground. I looked up at her with the most meanest death-look I could manage. She just laughed in my face.

"I don't even know how your brother puts up with you." She smiled and her friends laughed. As soon as she mentioned my brother my anger went up a few steps, or a few flights of stairs.

"Don't talk about my brother." I threatened. This time, nearly succeeding in threatening.

"GIRLS! Is there something you want to share with the class?!" Mr Carter yelled and she turned around. Giving an innocent smile and shaking her head. The teacher went back to his lecture.

"Say hi to your parents for me." She muttered under her breath. My anger had reached the end of the staircase. I reached over he desk and grabbed a handful of her blonde hair and pulling it hard. Making her screech and fall of her stool. She sat on the ground and held her hands to the side of her head. I stood up and stormed out of class. Preventing myself from doing more to her for mentioning my parents. I kept walking to the front of the school, ignoring the yells of Mr Carter trying to make me come back. I pulled my phone out and called Jake. It took a few seconds for him to answer. There were a few tears brewing at the rim of my eyes. I was so angry.

"Hello? Hayliegh?" He asked, confused. I had never done anything like that before. I'm never very violent.

"Jake, Can you come pick me up? Please." I forced out. My voice was cracked with sadness and anger.

"Hayliegh, are you okay?" He asked worriedly, I heard a scuffle and the jingle of keys.

"Just come get me please?" One lone tear escaped out of my eye. I never cry in public, I normally save it for when I'm going to sleep at night. I'm so angry at Chloe, and at myself for letting her get to me.

"I'll be there as soon as I can Hayliegh." He hung up and I knew he was now running out the door to his car to get me. I walked to the office and sat in one of the seats. All the admin looked at me and one got up, walking into a seperate room. I sat and stared at the wall. A guidance officer walked out and tried talking to me. I couldn't hear a word she said. Her words were drowned out by the waves of sadness and anger crashing inside of me. When Jake arrived, he spoke to the admin and signed me out. I got up and walked out to the car. I got in and waited for him to get back. A few minutes later he got in and faced me.

"What happened love? Are you okay?" He asked, worry written all over his face. I shook my head.

"I don't want to talk about it." I muttered and looked out the windscreen. I could see Chloe in the office, all the ladies were standing around her. She was crying in pain. There was a little bit of blood in her hair. I kind of felt bad now. I didn't think I pulled her hair that hard.

"You obviously need to talk. The admin lady told me that you ripped that girls hair out. Which isn't you." He looked at me concerned.

"I had good reasons." I stated and looked down at my hands.

"What were they?" He questioned worriedly.

"Can we please just go home?" I asked. He started the car and drove down the street.

"What happened Hayliegh?" His eyebrows furrowed. I was obviously introuble with the school. I hope I got expelled. But with my luck, not even that would happen.

"Nothing." I insisted. He shook his head.

"Please tell me. I can't do this on my own. You will tell me in the next two weeks before your suspension is over so you might as well." A suspension, two weeks was all I got. This is going to be a short two weeks. I guess he was right.

"The bitch talked about my family, she deserved it." I said angrily. He glanced at me and looked at the road.

"What exactly did she say?" He asked.

"She said, she wonders how you can put up with me. Then the teacher shut us up, and she muttered something under her breath that made me snap." I said, I could tell Jake was getting angry that someone was hurting his little sister.

"What did she mutter?" He stared out of the windsheild. I didn't want to tell him incase it might upset him further.

"She said, 'Say hi to your parents for me'." I said, my voice broke at the end. Jakes knuckles went white over the steering wheel as he clenched onto it. "Thats when I lost it." I admitted. He nodded. Not saying anything. We arrived home and we both got out. He walked around the car and stood in front of me, tears in his eyes. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close.

"It's alright, I'm not angry at you. I would've done the same thing." He comforted me. Funny way of comforting me but it nearly worked. He patted my back and I buried my face in his chest.
