"You good?" I heard Omarion ask.
"Yea." I said calmly.
I'm at the hospital right now and the only people here is Omarion and my favorite cousin aiyonna.
The only "friends" I really had was the people who were apart of my brothers gang. I didn't want no dealings with them anymore.
Omarion and me had a crush on each other in ninth grade. It was so funny but weird cause he was like the closest to my brother out of every body.
Me and him haven't talked in hellas.
"Why did you let your guard down after your brother and your mother died?" Omarion asked.
"Umm...I guess I thought that letting more people in would fill in the lost of my mother and brother." I said truthfully. I never thought about it that way.
Omarion didn't kill. He was like the leader of everything. He told the killers what to do and the drugs dealer what to do. I don't know why he shot darriyon. He was 2 years older than me.
That's what I liked about him he was his own person.
"Well Jayla I remember you being really quiet. You didn't talk much. And from what I remember you never let a nigga be close to you as much as reggie and Ace was no matter how much they liked you."
"What about me and Darriyon. How did I go wrong with me and him?" I asked.
"You didn't actually go wrong with him. You was so stuck up in how different he was that you failed to realize all the questionable things he was doing." He said.
"Thank you." I told him.
"Why are you thanking me?" He asked laughing.
"You helped me realize what I should've realized before. I'm planning on moving to the UK." I told him.
"Well Jayla it was nice catching up with you. I hope we can talk before you move to the UK." He said shaking my hand.
"Bye." I said.
"Bye Jayla." He said while leaving out the door.

"Ewww that's dirty ass fuck." I said as aiyonna was telling me about how she caught her brother fucking in her bed.
"Yea girl but for real is you good?" She asked sitting on my bed.
"Yes." I said. The doctors had let me out early.
"Girl, imma miss yo dusty ass. When you find a nigga out there tell me. I gotta see if he worthy or not of being wit you." She said while smiling.
"Girl. I'm not messing wit no more niggas." I said honestly. I'm not getting into no more relationships.
"Mhmm. What about yo college though." She asked.
"I gotta catch up on hella work. This shit is stressful. Would it be better if I actually went to the college?" I asked aiyonna.
"Nope. Everybody and everything thing there is just a distraction that's why I'm not gone be doing college from online." She said.
