Hyunjin woke up feeling the remnants of his emotional exhaustion. His eyes felt puffy and heavy, and he didn't even have the strength to open them. Chan stirred next to him, one arm draped over Hyunjin's waist. Hyunjin had noticed that Chan was a cuddler on their first morning together, so he had grown accustomed to it, and he liked the idea of being 'protected' while he slept.

Chan sat up and leaned over to check if Hyunjin was awake. His chest pressed against Hyunjin's body, making Hyunjin smile internally. Chan was one of those people that constantly emitted warmth, their hands never cold and never needing a jacket in cooler weather.

Hyunjin let out a small sigh accidentally, prompting Chan to whisper "Good morning." Hyunjin turned around onto his back and looked up at Chan as he smiled. "Morning." He reciprocated.

Chan stared down at Hyunjin's puffy eyes, thinking about how breathtaking he looked, but also remembering what had happened the night before. "Are you okay?" He asked. Hyunjin's smile faded, making Chan's heart sink. "I'm sorry, I'm such a crybaby," Hyunjin spoke bitterly. Chan inhaled sharply, he didn't like Hyunjin talking about himself like that. He grabbed Hyunjin's hands and forced him to look at him. "You are not a crybaby. We all have our sad times, don't bully yourself for having emotions."

Chan and Hyunjin prepared for the day before walking out into the kitchen for breakfast. Changbin was scolding Jisung for something, so the two couldn't help but overhear. "You're not going anywhere!" Changbin yelled. Chan's attention was drawn from his bowl of peaches to the commotion in the living room. "Where does he want to go?" Chan asked. Changbin turned around and met Chan with a lethal glare. "This brat thinks he's going to go out for the evening by himself and stay at some strange man's house!" Changbin explained.

Hyunjin sat on the counter eating yogurt and watched the argument from the kitchen. It was thoroughly entertaining, but he wasn't going to get involved. Jisung was fighting back like a rebellious teenager, saying things like "I grew up here!" and "I know the hyung personally!" but the two older men were not buying any of it. As the three stormed out, not wanting to be late for their schedule, Hyunjin asked where Jisung initially wanted to go. He said he wanted to hang out with Minho Hyung and catch up, but his red face told Hyunjin they were planning on doing a little more than having an evening chat.

Hyunjin saw the boys to their cab before walking his usual route to work. Hyunjin predicted that his day would be mundane, as usual. He ventured through Cle's doors, looking forward to walking out of them in a few hours.

Around Lunch, as Hyunjin began his break, an unusual girl walked in. Her fashion sense was interesting to say the least. Hyunjin's first thought was to leave her be and allow her to venture around the store, even though it was pretty obvious that nothing in the store would match her aesthetic.

"You're Hyunjin, right?" She suddenly asked as she ran up behind him. Hyunjin felt a ping of annoyance at the sound of his name, but he smiled and figured he'd help anyway, even if he was technically on his break. "Yes, How may I help you?" He responded sweetly.

"You can fuck off." She spat bitterly. Her sudden change in demeanor shocked Hyunjin, rendering him speechless. "You think you can just steal Chan away from me? I saw pictures of you two shopping together, I saw you on his V-LIVE yesterday, and I know you two are seeing each other!" She yelled into his face. Her pupils had shrunk, giving her a crazy look to her, if her attitude didn't suggest it already.

Hyunjin sat there stunned, taking all the heat the girl was throwing his way. He knew he couldn't retaliate, and he wasn't the fighting type, verbally or physically. He just prayed that Woojin would notice and intervene.

"Just leave Chan alone! What? Nothing to say huh? Cause you know I'm right. Fucking kill your self you ugly, worthless piece of shit. He deserves better than-" As she continued to scream, her volume increasing, it drew the eyes and cameras of shoppers. Hyunjin was beyond embarrassed and on the brink of tears.
