The rain drizzled down his leathery coat. The cold droplets rivered down, collecting the blood that had splashed onto him and dripped onto the ground. The blood stained water mixed with the fresh rain and soon started to seep into the cracks of the worn down sidewalk.

The broken street lamp flickered on and off, lighting the alley way just enough to see what lurked in the dark corners. Blood fell into the storm drain underneath it.

The man with the leathery coat stood over four bodies. A well dressed man, a woman who was expecting a child soon, a little girl with her teddy still clinched in her cold, lifeless hands, and an infant who looked no more than a few months old. Each had more than one bullet hole in them.

The pistol still smocked, still hot. Sirens broke the deathly silence. Blue and red lights blinded the area and loud, commanding voices drowned out the pitter patter of the rain.

The man dropped the gun and slowly turned around, raising his hands into the air. The police officers slowly walked up to him with guns pointed before quickly pining him to the ground, trapping his hands behind his back.

The handcuffs squeezed his wrists tight. But he showed no sign of being in pain. He was thrown into the back of cruiser and was taken away from the mess he made. His expression stayed cold and emtionless.

He was not sorry for what he did.

Not in the slightest...
