the meeting day

To say I've been stressed and scared this past month is an understatement. For the past month, I've only gotten 4 hours of sleep and for the past 3 days, I've been worrying nonstop on what is going to happen when I meet with the titans evenly my mom told me to head to bed at around 5:59. I woke up at 6:03... It's 4:56 the meeting is at 8:00 so I'm just chilling for a few hours. Currently, I'm sitting on my bed reading teen titans number 26 released March 2019, blaring Percy Jackson the musical in my ears. I hear a knock at my door.

"Come in," I mumble. I hear the creak and a woof; I pull my head from my comic to see my mom and my puppy pug Lillie at the door. I pat my lap a call in a sweet high-pitched voice "Lillie come here girl." Lillie runs over to my bed and jumps up not making it we chuckle, and I pick her up placing her on my lap, and Lillie starts licking my face. I laugh and smile. My mom walks over and sits on my bed.

"Hey, Sue?" My mom asks "

"Ya?"

"Don't you think you've done enough research?"

"No, because there are still places, I haven't seen and stories I haven't heard," I say

"Well, I'm pretty sure you've seen the Batcave a million times." She responds holding the comic up and waving it in front of my face. 

I grab it from her, jump off my bed, walk over to my bookshelf, And put it away. I walk back to the bed, sit down and let out a shaky breath "Susie I think you should stop worrying everything is going to be fine."

"How do you know that?!?! How?! HOW DO YOU know that they won't...that they won't... they won't kill me?" My voice barely a whisper by the end.

"I know because they've changed because you know they've changed. You just don't believe it...yet." My mum says. I hug her and start crying into her chest (Does this sound weird?) Lillie walks over and starts licking my face. After about four minutes like this, I stopped crying.

"Ok, Ok I'll hope they won't kill my keyword is hope. I won't believe I don't trust they won't kill me, but I do hope and that's the best you'll get for now." I say my mom nods her head. Suddenly I hear the beginning of the teen titans theme song. My mom gives me a questioning look as I grab my phone from my headboard. I see a text from .... Damian?

Him: Hello Ms. Blue I was wondering if you would like to "hang out" today?

I look up at my mom "You have nothing today other than meeting with the titans and I have a meeting with R&D as well as an audition at 5:30 but I suspect you two can handle your self on your own. And don't argue you and I both know you aren't leaving the house today." I nod

Me: sure! :) can we just hang out at my place? I'm just not up to leaving my house.

Him: Sure. text me your address.

Me: Ok. the address 1732 northeast meadow street spring shore new jersey.Him: Thank you.
