Carson looks at me and I feel my anger slowly slip away. I'm falling for him, I think to myself, and I'm falling hard. I can't open my heart up to him. I can't open up to anyone. I look up at him and smile softly. I walk over to him and hug him. It takes him a second to react but his arms wrap around me. I instantly calm down and feel safety fill my body. "Thank you so much," I whisper softly into his chest, "I'm sorry for everything I've done."

I look up at him as he leans down and presses his lips gently against mine. Happiness and confusion spread through my body. I pull back in shock and look up at him feeling my eyes widen. I subconsciously lift my hand up to my lips and feel my fingers press against them. I try to push past him but he grabs my arm. "Sierra," he grumbles, "don't do this to me. Tell me something. Anything. I'm begging you."

"I'm falling for you," I mutter pulling my arm away harshly.

I run out the door. I start sprinting down the block but keep tripping over his sweatpants. "SIERRA!!!" Carson voice echoes through the air. I feel my heart break in two as I continue running. I can't do this to myself. Not again. "COME BACK!!"

I hear a car pull up beside me. I look over and see Haiden's Ford Mustang coming to a stop. The window rolls down and Haiden sticks her head out. The lyrics to In the Name of Love blare through the speakers. I shake my head and walk over the passanger side door. I hope in and kick my feet up on the dash. "Feet. Off. The. Dash," Haiden growls tossing a sun dress at me. "Change into this."

"Why?" I whine inhaling more of Carson's smell. I don't want to take off the comfort I have. "Why do I need to change?"

"So we can go into James Super Foods!" Haiden exclaims. "All their ice cream is on sale. Plus we are having a girls night."

"It's literally 11 am," I state pulling the sundress over Carson's shirt. I pull the sweats down and slip my hands out of the sleeves of his shirt. "Girls night is suppose to be at night."

"I don't care," Haiden confronts, "You need to spill the beans on what you told Carson."
-------

By the time we leave James Super Foods Haiden has spent over $60 on ice cream alone. That doesn't count everything else she decided to buy. Haiden drives us straight to the gangs apartment. She runs up the stairs and check to make sure none of the gang is there.

When she gets back to the car she looks at me and grins wickedly. "Sierra," she says sweetly, "can you go distract Markus?"

I stare at her wide eyed. She always makes me be the distraction. "Why can't you do it this time?" I whine crossing my arms.

"Because you are the one that has anxiety and they'll believe you more than me."

I drag myself up the stairs and to the apartment. I stop a few feet from the door and drop to the ground. I make sure my fall is loud and start breathing crazily. The apartments door swings open and Markus rushes out. "Sierra, whats wrong?" Markus questions as Haiden runs the food into the apartment. Markus reaches down and picks me up. He carries me in the apartment. "Everything's going to be okay. I'm going to call Rodrigo or Carson."

Markus starts pacing around the room as Haiden walks through the door again. This time she's empty handed and hers eyes land on me. She quickly runs over to me. Markus looks at her with a confused expression. I stop the act once Haiden tsk in my ear. I stand up slowly and walk to me and Haiden's room. "I'm good now," I yell closing the door behind me.

Haiden sighs and opening the freezer. She pulls out Cookie Dough ice cream and Chocolate Chip. She throws me a tub and a spoon. "Spill the beans," Haiden says as she pins another photo to the wall.
