"Ada come on! Hurry up" Ivy, my younger sister, shouted. We ran through the Autumn leaves, kicking them as we go. Horses appeared around a large willow tree. My eyes were drawn to a ginger horse with black dots around its nose. Ivy quickly jumped onto her horse and started riding off into the green field. Snow started to fall as I mounted the ginger stallion. It's mane felt like silk, I couldn't help but run my finger through it. I griped its mane and ran into the snowy field. Sun light streamed through the clouds melting the snow, leaves began to grow on the trees, and flowers began to blossom. The clouds disappeared and the heat intensified. The horse came to a halt and standing in front of us was Mama. Something was irregular about her however, her hair was a lighter shade, almost as if it was ginger, her nose was covered in faint freckles. She appeared to look similar to me.

I woke with a jolt, but found it difficult to open my eyes. A rolled around uncontrollably, trying to get a breath in. The sheets were damp from the sweat and stuck to me like glue. A warm liquid poured out of my nose and down the side of my face, hardening on the surface . I gasped for more air only for my mouth to fill with the warm liquid that tasted like blood. The door slammed shut making my ears ring.

"I woke to find her like this my ladyship, I didn't know what to do"

"Call doctor Brandson and get some cold flannels."

"Yes my lady."

This went on for hours. At one stage I overheard someone say that if I made it through night I'd survive. More water and blood exploded out my mouth, and my nose bleed constantly for the duration of the night. Breathing was nearly impossible, and I often choked on the blood. Clara never left my side, and as it got worse more anxious voices filled my room, including little Tommy.
