I woke up to screaming.

No, not the kind of screaming when your scared. The kinds of screaming when 7 year old twins run into your room shooting each other with Nerf bullets that they got for Christmas the morning before. They were especially excited because it was their birthday. I don't even know how they got into the room, but I didn't care because they had woken me up at the ungodly hour of 6am.
Dad sat up in the bed next to me and said "Talia, Will, can you please go back to your room, it is rather early." I can't even believe that he wasn't getting mad. If it were me those kids would have wished they had never come into the room. I know I'm only 11, but no one interrupts me when I'm sleeping, even if it is the twins birthday. But just at that moment my Aunt stormed into the room, announcing "C'mon you two, rise and shine, I have planned us a brilliant day! We are going snorkelling on Phiphi Island!"
Snorkelling..... I hate snorkelling. Last time I went snorkelling I got out of the water and found out that my mother had died. I never wanted to go snorkelling again. I was afraid that if I got out of the water again that I would be told that there was a tsunami or something. Little did I know what was exactly what happened. Thankfully my Dad came to my rescue. "Susan, you know that Mack doesn't like to go snorkelling anymore.... Why would you plan that?" I silently prayed for my Dad knowing me so well. But then the Aunt made the situation so much worse. "Mack has a stupid reason for not liking to go snorkelling, she can suck it up. C'mon, were in Indonesia, It is nice and warm and this trip cost a lot of money. We're leaving in half an hour." Then she and the kids left to go open the twins birthday presents. My Dad's jaw was hanging open and tears were welling up in my eyes. Dad got out of bed to go have a word with his sister. A tear fell down my cheek and I silently prayed to Dad for the second time that morning.
