Narinig kong sabi ni Laura bago binaba ang tawag.
Must be bad news, huh? Oh well..............................
"It's confirmed Madame. The letter you received is from the Villafuerte Group and they strongly said that it is not just another invitation but an obligatory summon directly from the board." Seryosong sabi ni Laura matapos ibigay ang ilang papel ukol sa kanyang ginawang pagtawag.
Obligatory summon? Talaga lang ha. Must be very eager to see me,then? Let's see.
"Madame? Are you alright?"
Binaba ko muna ang binigay niyang minutes bago ko inaangat ang aking ulo at tumingin sa aking assistant dito sa Barcelona. Iniisip kong mabuti kung anong isasagot sa kanya.
"Yes, you can go now, gracias." I softly said. Laura then, bowed her head as she left the room.
Madaling sumandal ako sa aking reclining chair pagkaalis ng aking assistant. Laura Whitman is my assistant here in Barcelona. Almost 1 week pa lang siya dito pero heto at natunton na ako ng Villafuerte group.
Must be a bad choice to hire her, huh.
Napabuntong hininga ko. For the nth time today. I guess it can't be helped now, Mukhang wala na akong choice since obligatory summon nga daw ito ng board.
I must return to Manila. To the Villafuertes.
