"You're here."

"Yes. I arrived last night. I went to your house this morning, your househelp said you're out. "

Nakatingin lang siya sa akin while saying that. He was watching my every move with that dark eyes of his. I guess, some things never really change.
Kahit kailan, tuwing tinitingnan niya ako para akong nalulunod sa mga mata niya.

Those dark, enticing and brooding eyes he has.

Reid Levin Sy-Villafuerte is my so-called fiancée. So called lang, why? We are not really engaged. It's just there is mutual agreement between our families. Sort of marriage for convenience, business, whatever. I actually don't care. Neither does he.

I think? Nah. Of course, he doesn't care. He's a Villafuerte, for God's sake. Business is Business.

He just graduated from college last year, then moved to US for his Master's. We haven't seen each other since then, Ngayon na lang ulit.

He rarely calls nor chats me unless it's an important occasion. For my 18th birthday last year, he literally just called to greet me a happy birthday. Nothing more than that.

Don't get me wrong though. We are not in a relationship. He's not my boyfriend neither. Close lang kami talaga. Yata?

Reid is a very serious person, di nga yata marunong mag joke tong taong ito. But, I can say he's a very dedicated person. Sa family niya, with his friends and colleagues and to their employees. Medyo ruthless nga lang daw siya sa business sabi ni Dahlia. Halata naman friend!

"Where are you going? I just got here." sabi ni Reid. Hindi ko napansin na nakalapit na siya sa akin. Masyado yata akong nagulat sa presence niya. Ang gwapo kasi! Kainis!

"Ano kasi.."

"What? Thinking of your boyfriend, Canaria?." Parang naiinis na dagdag pa niya.

"What? Nothing to say dear fiancée?"

Hala! Galit siya? Wait. Boyfriend? Pinagsasabi nito?

"Tsk."

"Teka nga lang, anong boyfriend ka diyan? Ano yun?" Depensa ko sa kanya. Parang wala lang sa kanya. Lumapit pa siya sakin. Parang nanghihingi pa ng dagdag sa sinabi ko.

"There's someone who's going around the campus with you. You've been spotted with him quite a few times. And that's not even Dexter. Who's that lad, young lady? Hmm." Sunod-sunod na tanong pa niya.

Napaisip ako. A guy is seen with me? And he's not even Dexter?

Sino kaya yun? Hmm.

Shit! Kilala ko na. But,wait, how does he know?

"Wala lang yun. Kasamahan ko sa Org namin. Tinutulungan lang niya ako."

He smirked at me before saying, "Really, huh."

"Of course! Why would I even lie to you? Duh. And we have an agreement, mister. "

Even we are not technically engaged to be married, we decided to be honest to each other. So if ever, we meet someone we would fall in love in, we must inform and ask one another about it. Out of respect and of course, our friendship. Ako actually ang nakaisip ng agreement namin na ito, because I don't want him to be pressured by our arrangement.

I can't do that to him.

And he's a guy, a very hot and good looking guy for that. A gentleman and hard working man, must i say. May sakit lang talaga sa mata ang palalampasin ang isang kagaya niya.

Wait, what about me?
