The Carnival

The day of the carnival in Vale had arrived and you and your teammates and friends were pumped up for it. You had a few thoughts run through your head here and there but you were able to push them aside for the benefit of the rest. You guys entered the carnival and wonder completely overtook you. You looked around and were in complete awe of the world this place built for you and your friends. You saw a few traditional carnival games and rides, without thinking, you began to take off running towards them until Gure stopped you and pulled you back.

Gure: Cool it, Hot Shot. So, anyone got a plan. ONE that does not include scheduling rides or games, SILVER!

Silver slowly put his hand down.

Velvet: We can just go section by section.

Gure: Like the idea, Babe.

Velvet quickly blushed and what Gure said finally set into his head. He covered his mouth and face with a blush and took off running.

Fox: I'll follow him.

With that, Fox took off after Gure.

Burly: Uh, how long could he talk?

Coco: The whole time. He does so in rare occasions. Mainly while he's pissed.

You were silently laughing a bit. Coco smiled and playfully punched your arm. You looked at her and she gave you a smile in return. You also playfully punched her arm. Coco looked back at you and gave you a smile and a finger point.

Sapphire: Coco?

Coco froze and turned around slowly and saw Sapphire standing behind you guys.

Yatsuhashi: I take it you two know one another.

Coco: That's one way of putting things.

Sapphire: Yeah. So, anyway, I saw you guys and was wondering if I could join in. Been awhile since Coco, (Y/N) and I hung out.

Silver: I mean-

You gave her two thumbs up, agreeing to her terms. While some members in the group gave you questioning looks, Sapphire accepted the invitation and grabbed your hand and began to drag you into the carnival. Truthfully, you didn't want her to come along at all. You wanted to tell her to turn away and leave you alone forever. However, you knew her and Coco used to be friends and any chance you had at helping your friends, you were down for.

Unknown to you however, Coco had a small blush on her face and some anger in her eyes as she watched you get dragged away. Velvet walked up besides her and gave her a smile.

Velvet: Jealous?

Coco: Shut up! I just don't like her. I never have.

Coco took off after you and Sapphire and began to walk in pace with you two. During the walk, it was clear to both you and Coco that Sapphire has yet to learn sign, something you didn't mind teaching her. However, that conversation point never came up. Despite that, the three of you still seem to have some fun. From playing carnival games here and there and also just goofing off. You guys went on a rollercoaster and yes, it did hurt your ears a bit. However, Coco was able to guide you to a nearby food court.

Coco: Here. You stay here. I'll get you some food.

"Hot Pretzel, please."

Coco raised an eyebrow, not understanding what you were asking for. You then thought about it and then drew on a napkin the image of a pretzel.

Coco: Oh! Hot pretzel.

You showed her the image of pretzel in sign language and she returned it. You both smiled at one another and she went over to the stand to buy two, one for you and one for herself.
