Chapter 1

I joyfully bounce through the school doors, walking up to my best friends that were both standing by my locker chatting to one another.

"Hey girls." I sing, pulling them both into a hug once I neared them.

"Hi" they both say in unison causing them both to laugh and say 'jinx.' I shake my head with a smile on my face.

"You guys are so weird. " I giggle.

"Yeah but you looove us." Kelsey says making kissy noises causing us to laugh all over again.

She wasn't wrong I loved them.

Kelsey and me had been friends since we were kids both our mums were good friends which made us friends. I would always go to her house and play with her newly collection of dolls. She had short, sleek, straight black hair with blonde highlights touching her shoulders. Her small button nose went great with her diamond face shape and defined jawline. Her electric blue eyes popped out becuase of her pale skin.

Then there's Grace who is Kelsey's cousin. We meant two years ago, she was a total bitch but i got used to her attitude Kesley and her were not the same she was more loud and abnoxious, on the other hand Kesley was quite and less talkative. But together we all get along and nothing could separate us. We made a silly oath back when we were kids, it was that no boy could break our hearts or even take us away from each other. It's like that saying,"chicks before dicks." But we were too young to know what a dick was.

Kesley and Grace both looked the same but Grace had long jet black hair with hazel eyes and the same pale skin.

A loud bang broke us out of chit chat. I glance around to see where it came from.

The student that were by their lockers were now rushing to the other side of the hallway which was blocked with a bunch of lockers blocking us from what was happening.

"Lets go check it out." I quickly say to them both and follow the crowd heading that way.

I try to tip toe getting a better view when I couldn't I pushed through the sea of people and move forward getting pushed back by the students agressively.

I made it at the front eventually  with the best view. The scene in front of me made me to roll my eyes nothing new it was just a fight.

This wasn't unusual we would have fights on a regular basis, but today's was different they were bearly throwing punches at each other it was more verbal fight than a physical one.

"Get out of my face." A male voice sneers, holding a boy around the same age as us by his neck.

"You have too move in order for me to." The boy bites back still manageing to come with a good combat even though he was being choked by Carter.

Carter was the popular boy in our class. He was your typical bad boy. Girls. Football. Fights. Partying and so on.

Carter threw a hard punch to his right eye and jaw while the one reciving the punches groaned in pain. "Don't get cheeky."

When I said it wasn't a physical fight I was wrong as more punches were thrown, back and forward.

He punches him one last time on his right cheeks causing him to spit out blood making the girls at the front scream in disgust.

The guy that was being held and used as a punching bag had enough as he threw a punch at Carter as he was caught of guard making him loose his balance and fly back on to his 'girlfriend' as she caught him asking him if he's okay. I rolled my eyes, bitch he wasn't the one that was getting punched to plup was he now.

"Yes I'm fine babe, let's go. fuck him." He says spitting on him and giving him a kick, turning his back towards him and walking off.

The croud began to eventually vanish leaving the injured boy alone. I slowly walk over to him to check if he's okay.

He had his eyes shut I didn't know his name so I extended my left hand to touch his shoulder. He flinched, his left eye shot opened as his right eyes was bearly opening from the blue-ish purple bruise that was now forming, he caught my wrist tightly, breathing hardly.

"Don't. Touch. Me"

My eyes widened at how cold his tone was, I roughly pull my wrist back away from his warm hands holding it near my chest, rubbing the pain away. That sure was going to leave a mark.

I looked at his face, taking in every detail. His eyes a dull hazel colour, his lips had a slit, the crimson blood drying on it, his jawline was well defined along with his nose, his brown hair fell into his eyes my hand twiched to push it back but before I could even do anything, not like I was anyways he roughly pushed past me and walked out the school building.

He walked through the parking lot. I shake my head, i glance around for Kesley or even Grace but the hallway was empty everyone had gone to class.

I was sure going to be late.
