The trip to SM was really normal with Doyoung being silent as hell while Jaehyun and I kept talking and Jaemin slept
We arrived at SM around 10 minutes later and the security welcomed Jaehyun, Doyoung and Jaemin really easily
When I walked towards the door of the building I was not allowed inside until Jaemin realized this and approached the security
"Don't worry about it, she is with me" Jaemin told the guards and they let me pass
Jaemin held my hand and continued to hold it until we reached Doyoung and Jaehyun's recording area
"Excuse me, Mr. Soo Man is ready to see both of you" a staff came up to us and said"Okay Thank you" I replied and she walked away
Jaemin and I walked into the CEO's office and he was sitting there waitingWe approached the table and he instructed us to sit down so we did
"Hello Jaemin and Ms. Seo, I know you already know you are here today" he saidJaemin and I nodded and he continued his statement
"Well, as we know you are going to post a song soon and you two have announced to be dating; many of the fans don't believe it so we are planning to release an official statement about it" he says then pauses
"So I am offering you a contract to be a trainee here and debut sometime next year, but your contract will be slightly different from other idols" he said and checked if we were still paying attention
"Some changes are that you are allowed to date, you are allowed to leave whenever you desire and that you and Jaemin are going to be something like an NCT unit hut just like the two of you" he finished
I nodded and looked at Jaemin "So this means we are still allowed to date, and she will have an SMR19 song for now?" Jaemin asks
"Yes, this song is not yet of the official unit the unit will only be created after her solo debut" SM replied
"Then I am perfectly fine with the rest" Jaemin says reading the contract"Then I guess I am also fine with it" I replied also reading the contract
Jaemin grabs my hand and squeezes it tightly and whispers "please accept it, for me"I read it once again "So, are you willing to accept the deal?" SM asked
"Sure, I don't mind anything here" I reply signing the contract
"Welcome to the SM family Claire" SM says and offers a handshake
I shake his hand and Jaemin runs towards me and gives me a hug
"Okay so Claire just remember, you will stay in the NCT dorm and when NCT get back to work that is when you also start" he says and opens the door out
Jaemin and I walk outside the office and Jaemin plays with my hair
Jaemin turns around and looks at me "So, you are technically gonna be an NCT member, how does that make you feel"
"I guess I am excited, but apparently only the two of us are allowed to know about the new unit" I replied
"So we have to make sure nobody finds out?" Jaemin replies as we continue walking in the hallway
I nodded
"Let's go to the dance practice room" Jaemin blurts out dragging me with him
"Okay, what are we gonna do there?" I reply to Jaemin who was smiling brightly
"It's gonna be a secret for now" Jaemin says until we arrive at the door for the dance roomWe enter and see that it is vacant "Are we allowed to be here?" I ask Jaemin
Jaemin nods and brings me to the sound system of the dance practice room "Give me your phone"
I give him my phone and he connects it to the sound system
"Remember our song, I actually thought of a choreography for it" Jaemin said playing the songJaemin taught me the choreography for the whole song until it became late at night decided we should go back to the dorms
We were walking out of the dance room to see their sunbaenim Chen from EXO who greeted us"Hi Jaemin, Hi Claire" Chen said waving at us
"Wait, you know her?" Jaemin asks confused
"Yeah, Johnny introduced her to us" Chen replied putting his hand out to shake my hand "It has been a long time since we last met, by any chance do you have a boyfriend already?"
"Actually, yeah it has been a while and since nobody except NCT knows but yeah I am gonna be an SM rookie" I reply avoiding the question
"Oh cool, did they plan when you will debut? Also do you have a boyfriend?" Chen asks again"I am gonna debut March next year and about that...." I started but ended
"Actually, I am her boyfriend but she is still embarrassed to admit it" Jaemin blurts out"Oh really, that is so cute, since when?" Chen asks
"A few days for now" I replied more shy than ever
"Oh cute, good luck you two, I gotta go now I have a meeting to get to" Chen says then leaves."Are you still shy to admit that we are a couple? Jaemin asks chuckling
"Yes, you are an idol and you have many girls fawning over you yet you pick me" I say holding Jaemin's shirt
"You are so cute" Jaemin says giving me a peck on my forehead
We walk towards the exit and see that it is raining and our vehicle is nowhere to be seen"Well shoot" Jaemin says
