How They Get Jealous

Purple

-This goofball gets jealous on a regular basis.

-He hates that you need to be around Zim in order to call him when you're not visiting The Massive.

-In fact, most of his jelousy is caused by Zim and other inferior Irkens being around you.

-You made the mistake of complimenting one of the service drones on their hard work and he ended up whining like a child.

-"I work hard too! Why don't you praise me? Huh? Huh?!"

- Purple is an open book so you'll always know he's jealous. He'll cling to you and refuse to let go while he complains about how he doesn't get enough attention.

-Of course that's far from the truth, he just doesn't get all of your attention and that kills him.

- You have to make sure he doesn't send a poor irken out of the airlock because you asked them how their day was.

-When he wants your attention he'll lift you into his arms and literally carry you away.

-Whatever conversation you were previously having is now over, time for private cuddles.

Red

-Red is more confident than Purple, but only by a little.

-Zim is his main trigger, seeing as you talk with him as if you two had been friends for life and hang around him constantly.

- Although you hang around Zim to talk to Red, Zim is always interrupting your calls and he hates when you indulge him.

-"We're kind of in the middle of something, Zim."
-"Yes, we are!... So as I was saying-"

-During your rare visits to the Massive all your attention better be on him because he is starved of it and tired of sharing it.

-If your attention is diverted from him for more than a minute, he gets handsy.

- He'll wrap an arm around your shoulder or waist, lay his hand on your thigh or even nuzzle his face into your neck.

-It gets your attention and makes a statement: You're his.
