At Camp Half Blood

The camp was in a state of panic.

There were werewolves attacking camp and for some reason the boundaries weren't working because these wolves wandered in and out of camp at leisure. They had called Olympus for help and the Hunters of Artemis had arrived that morning and they had called a meeting to discuss what to do.

The cabin leaders where all present and so where some of the hunters.

"Let's start this meeting now" Chiron to the group around the ping pong table. "Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of this wolf problem?" No one spoke up and Chiron sighed.

"Don't you know how to deal with werewolves" Tyler asked the hunters. "You're the ones that are supposed to be experts on hunting mythical creatures."

"We've never hunted werewolves, they normally stay out of everybody's way" Thalia explained.

"What is the point of bringing these losers here if they don't even know what to do" exclaimed Tyler.

"Percy would know what to do" someone in the background muttered. There were a few murmurs of agreement and Tyler scowled.

Suddenly a possibility occurred to Thalia. A known wolf pack not too far from camp half blood. Could they be able to help?

""We really do need help and who knows werewolves better than werewolves" said Thalia, "but I'm not sure if they will be willing to help us after what happened the first time we met".

"What are you talking about" asked Chiron

Thalia stood up and started to explain. "There is someone that could help us" she said, "There is another group of werewolves that live roughly 20 miles from here."

At these word there was a huge uproar.

"We want help not more wolves to deal with" Tyler said angrily "we already have one pack attacking us never mind another". Everyone nodded in agreement.

"But we've met this pack before about three years ago and they aren't hostile" argued Thalia.

"Don't you hunt monsters" sneered Clarisse.

"Fine it was just a suggestion but I suppose you're not that desperate" Thalia huffed.

"It isn't a bad idea" said Annabeth, who was standing up for her friend "and werewolves would know what other werewolves are like and their weaknesses. They would know how to fight them!"

Annabeth was a very important and respected member of camp and if she or Chiron said it was a good idea to team up with the wolves everyone would go along with it.

Then it's settled, Thalia where exactly does this other pack live.

Percy's Pov

Me, Jayden , Arianna and rose were sitting watching the entrance to the clearing where the house was built, thinking over the recent wolf attacks.

"I didn't know there were any other wolf packs near here" I said.

"There's not. I've been in the pack for almost ten years and there's never been a problem with rival packs." Arianna said
