|PT.9|

|⬆ the outfit hyunjin is wearing ⬆|

Hyunjin POV.

I was glad that me and seungmin had the same idea, outfit wise. I almost wore a suit. I'm so glad I didn't, it would have been so bad for the occasion. I chuckled to myself quietly.

We started walking and it was slightly awkward. I added to the awkwardness by grabbing seungmins hand, leaving us both a blushing mess.

I lead us in the direction of the set location. I really hoped he liked what I had planned. I was feeling more and more insecure and unsure the more i thought about it but I shook it off.

It was only about a 7 to 8 minute walk from seungmins house to the location we were headed. Before we could see the building I told him to close his eyes and that I would guide him.

He did as told and I guided him to the front of the building. When we reached the doors I told him to open his eyes.

When he did his expression changed from calm to excited and it made me so happy and relieved.

Seungmin POV.

Hyunjin told me to cover my eyes and told me he would guide me and so I did just that.

We walked for about a minute until we stopped and he told me I could open my eyes. When I opened my eyes, pure excitement filled them.

As soon as I open my eyes I see "escape if you can" staring me in the face and I was so excited. I always loved to do escape rooms and I thought it as the perfect first date, or any date really.

Hyunjin POV.

"S-so what do you think? I hope its not to-" I was cut off my seungmin hugging me. I was shocked for a few seconds but then began to hug back of course.

Who wouldn't hug kim seungmin? Stupid people thats who.(lmao sorry)

"I love it, thank you." He gives me a smile that could melt my heart. After a few seconds of smiles and stares I broke off by saying "shall we?"

He gives a small "we shall." I proceed to open the door and walk in after him. I already pre-payed online so all we had to do was pick the theme we wanted to do.

"So what theme do you want?" He looked at the book that contained all the themes and I could tell one caught his eye.

But before he could go on we heard a squeal and we both look over to see two girls seated in chairs close to where we were standing.

"S-sorry to interrupt, go on." One of the girls say while covering her face. Both of their faces were red and I was curious as to why. I just ignored it and put my attention back on seungmin.

But before I could the other girl came up to seungmin and I, and asked seungmin for his number.

I could see that he was taken aback by this and his face was red from embarrassement.

"Uh I-I'm sorry but I'm on a date right now." He hooked his arm with mine to indicate what he was talking about.

Her face went bright red. "Oh my god, I am so sorry. Please forgive me I didnt mean to interrupt." She bowed a couple times before walking away.

But before she was completely gone she shouted out to us "you guys make a really cute couple, I hope you two are happy together." She gives us a sweet smile and we both thank her and watch as she exits the room.

I turn back to seungmin who's face was as red as a tomato. We chuckled at the interaction and proceeded with the theme. He pointed to "grandmas haunted attic."

"You sure?" He nodded his head as if he had never been so sure of something in his life. "Ok then lets go."

We told the guy working there what theme we wanted and he gave us the run down.

"Its pretty simple, you have to leave your phones out of the room for security measures, we have lockers for them That you only have the key too. You have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the escape. If the timer goes off before you manage to escape you have failed. You get three hints, I will be helping and watching through cameras and speakers. Have fun!"

We put our phones in the locker and he locks it and hands us the key. He then leads us to the room proceeding to close and lock the door after he says "good luck and have fun!"

Seungmin immediately starts to look for clues and I thought it was so cute how determined he looked. I couldn't help but stare.

After a few seconds he notices that I was starring at him and he spoke up. "Hyunjin what are you doing come on." He chuckles and I snap out of my trance "S-sorry you just looked cute."

I could see a blush form on his face and he playfully hit my shoulder. I smile to myself and begin to search for clues myself.

After about a minute or so we found the first clue, it was a riddle that read. "This place isnt so scary look around and you'll see, a pretty little face that could be me."

"What does that even m-" but before I could even go on seungmin already found the next clue. "Its the picture on the wall of that girl."

"How did you-" but I was cut off yet again by something falling and a loud noise. Seungmin was a little startled but I was got so scared I practically tackled seungmin.

I was holding on to his waist and I was hugging him tight. After a few seconds I let go. "S-sorry." My face was bright red and I was so embarrassed.

Seungmin laughed. "Its Ok dont be sorry, But now I know that your a big baby." As he said big baby he squished my cheeks.

We Both laugh and continued on with the escape room.

After about 30 minutes we had found a lot more clues and were closer to escaping. We hadn't even used one hint that the guy informed us about.

Seungmin POV.

I was having so much fun, the most fun ive had in a long time. Me and hyunjin made a good team and I was still kinda shocked that he liked me.

No one POV.

The pair finished the escape room with a little under 20 minutes left. They would have finished earlier if hyunjin stopped getting disracted by all the cool stuff in the room.

It was ok though, they had fun and thats all that mattered. They liked having eachothers company.

After they left the escape room place they decided to go to the coffee shop seungmin worked at, as it was really close.

They walked in and simply had a snack and a drink. They talked about everything and anything. They talked for about an hour and a half.

They decided they should go before it got too late. Hyunjin insisted he drop seungmin off at his house.

Once they got to the front of the apartment building they stood there looking at eachother, both knowing what should come next.

But before anything could happen Hyunjin gave seungmin a quick hug

"I had a really good time, thank you for agreeing. we should do it again sometime. I should get going, bye Minnie. I'll see you tomorrow at school."

"Ya we should do this again jinnie. Thank you for asking me" Seungmin blushed and looked down.

"Bye.." Hyunjin smiled at seungmin and walked away while waving and seungmin waved back.

Seungmin waited till hyunjin was out of sight until he jumped up and down while squealing hoping no one heard him but little did he know that right when hyunjin was out of sight he did the same thing.
