|PT.10|

Hyunjin POV.

When I woke up the next day I recalled the events that happened yesterday and smiled to myself.

But that smile quickly faded when I remembered how the night ended. I hated myself for not kissing him.

I had the chance to but I didn't. I brushed it off and got ready for school. There's always next time, right?

When I got to school I walked into class and was expecting to see seungmin and I did.

but what I didn't expect was to see seungmin sitting on my best friend changbins lap.

"Uh- what's going on guys?" I said while walking up to them. Seungmin saw me and his face turned red.

"Nothing much man. How was your weekend?" Minho asked while obviously being oblivious.

All seungmin could do was look down and avoid my gaze but all I could do was keep looking at him.

Changbin had his hands wrapped around seungmins waist but it made me confused cause I thought changbin and felix were a thing.

I was getting annoyed at how confused I was. It seemed I missed so much but I wasn't even gone. Something was going on that I wasn't aware of.

"My weekend was good, as good as it could've been I guess." I shrugged and walked to my seat. I glanced at seungmin and he was still looking down.

The bell rang and seungmin got off of Changbins lap and walked over to his seat. He had a look on his face that I couldn't quite figure out what it meant.

We stayed silent the whole class period. As I was getting up to leave he grabbed my wrist and pulled me out.

He lead me to the janitors closet and he shut and locked the door. I was beyond confused at this point.

But before I could even say anything he kissed me. I was in shock but it was a good kind of shock.

My stomach felt fuzzy and my face felt hot but all that mattered to me in that moment were the lips that were pressed against mine and god did it feel good.

When he pulled away to get air I so desperately wanted to kiss him again. I wanted to but I was still so curious.

"S-seungmin." He looked up at me.

"Why were you sitting on changbins lap?" He sighed and began talking.

"Well I didn't want to tell you this but, last night changbin texted me and confessed that he liked me. I felt kinda bad cause he told me this whole sap story and I didnt know what to say. And When I saw him this morning he was being all cute and sweet and I just couldn't tell him and break his little bean heart."

He broke the hug and looked up at me. "I'm sorry. I'll tell him that I don't like him like that. I didn't mean to lead him on." He looked down. I put my finger under his chin and tilted his head so he was looking at me.

"Its ok, but if I ever see you sitting on someone else's lap that isn't mine I'll be mad." I crossed my arms to try and look intimidating but he just giggled and nodded.

No one POV.

Lunch time rolled around and seungmin was so nervous. He felt bad for leading changbin on this morning and he didn't know what to say to him. He didn't want to hurt his feelings but he had to do this.

Everyone was sitting at the table when seungmin walked up to changbin and pulled him aside.

"Changbin I need to talk to you." Seungmin said while avoiding eye contact. "About what?

"W-well um about what you said yesterday and what happened today." Seungmins heart broke when he saw changbins face. He looked so sad like he knew what seungmin was about to say.

"You don't have to say anything I already know. I knew I should have just kept my mouth shut. You're way out of my league and to think you would like someone like me." Changbin sighed and started to walk away.

Seungmin grabbed changbins hood in an attempt to stop him but it caused Changbin to stumble backwards into seungmin which caused both of them to fall backwards.

Changbin landed on seungmin and they were both on the floor laughing. They got up and seungmin looked at Changbin with sincere eyes.

"I'm really sorry Changbin but I just see you as a friend and I would hate it if we weren't friends because of this." Changbin understood and knew that it would be better to have seungmin as a friend then to not have him at all.

They walked back into the lunch room and ate their food. Hyunjin looked at seungmin with a questioning look and seungmin just nodded. They smiled at eachother and continued to eat.

I like this book a lot better than my other one, my first one was all over the place lmao😬😂
