The following Monday she showed up in leggings with her long hair in a braid. She had a cheer hoodie and glasses on. She kept to herself Bucky seen her come in as he stood above the hall.
She skipped 4th period once he did the lecuture he stepped out. He went to the library and he found her curled up with her knees to her chest and head down.
He heard sniffles he let her be. He went back upstairs to finish with the class. After school he was in the field house.
"Did you hear? Kingston quit cheerleading she was one of the best damn ones." One of the guys said
"She was the best. I havent seen her like this since last year. She hasnt been Kingston in a few months." Another one said
"Wonder why she quit?" Another one said
They had the boys on the field he told the guys he had to take a piss. He peaked in on the cheer/dance practice. He saw how Natasha was trying her best to come up with different routine without her.
Bucky sat in his office for awhile after practice. He needed some peace and quiet. The next day he didnt see her come in and she didnt show up again.
He overheard Natasha tell Fury that she needed to pull their spot for an upcoming comp. She couldnt throw together a new routine in three weeks.
Bucky swallowed hard he stopped Natasha. "Hey what's going on?" He said
"Kingston quit on me and Wanda yesterday. Im hoping that she just needs some time. She seemed really upset yesterday. She didnt want to talk about was wrong." Natasha said
He shook his head. "She was the best James..she has so potential. And I know that she can come off snobby and stuck up to some people. But she is an amazing cheerleader and dancer. I just hate to see such talent go to waste." Natasha said then walked off.
"Hey Nat you werent around yesterday. Sydney is pregnant again she is due in June." He said
She smiled and said "Congrats.."
"Thanks" he said as he went back into his office. He gathered up his stuff and went home. He turned on some music and started to dance with Sydney to "Witchcraft." By Frank Sinatra.
They heard giggles they both looked up as he has just dipped her. They saw Saylor he let go of Sydney. He went chasing after his daughter.
Kingston was in her room getting ready to go out. She was friends with the governor's daughter who was the same age as her she just went to a private school. She invited Kingston to a party she heard a honk.
She went running out the door. She got into Chloe's town car. They started doing shots and shared a joint in the car. It had been awhile since she had been out with Chloe Miller.
They arrived at the party decked out black backless dresses. They partied hard till 2 AM. Chloe was a tabloid magnet when she went out.
The next morning plastered across Page Six were pictures of their wild night of party hopping.

"It appears Chloe's old friend is back in the picture. They were seen at several parties last night. There is no denying that these two socialites are party girls."
Bucky seen the article as he drank his coffee. "Kingston what are you trying to do?" He whispered.
She showed up at school half hung over. She has hickeys on her neck from where she hooked up with someone at one of the parties. She walked into 4th period not even giving a shit anymore.
Bucky seen her neck and said "Lets get started. For those of you who have decided that my class isnt important and choose to skip it. We are learning about the Boston Tea Party so turn to page 363 in your history books."
She knew he was talking about her. After class was over "Ms Cooper you can stay seated." He said
He laid all of her missed work. "Next time you chose to skip my class to cry in the library you will be sent to detention. This needs to be turned in by Friday." He said
She cut him a look. "Man ..who knew your wife being pregnant would turn you into an ass." She said
"How did you know?" He said
"I happened to walk by on my way to talk to Coach Romanoff. I knew that I didnt have a chance in hell then." She said then walked away wiping tears.
She went out with Chloe again.
