~Coralia's POV~
I had no idea exactly what Luke had meant by that, but I didn't dwell on it too much. Maybe he just didn't want to deal with the drama between Romeo and I at the moment. Yes, at the moment. Some part of me knew that I would definitely be forgiving him and, knowing me, it'd probably also be sooner rather than later.
Around a week had passed since my little argument with Romeo, and I already wanted to forgive him. He was my good friend and I didn't want to make our friendship more rocky than it needed to be. It seemed like Romeo had just made a dumb mistake after our first few times of being intimate together, and I couldn't hold that against him forever. Even though I had felt betrayed at first, it wasn't because I was embarrassed that Luke knew about our sex life. It was moreso because Romeo had just...told someone something so private without even asking if I was okay with that being shared. I was glad, though, that he hadn't shared anything too personal. At least he seemed to have learned his lesson, or else he would've still been telling Luke about it all even now.
When I woke up on Wednesday morning, I felt the warmth of the sun on my face, causing me to groan in annoyance as I rolled over so my head was underneath my pillow. The blankets slipped off my naked figure more, letting the cool air brush my skin as I sighed deeply. I stayed buried under my pillow for a little while more before I decided that I should probably wake up, since it was pretty late, or at least late in comparison to how early I usually woke up. First, I slipped my black robe on and then booked it to the bathroom, glad to see that Luke hadn't gotten to it yet.
I locked the bathroom door and got into the shower after I went to the restroom, beginning to get myself clean. After I was done showering, I wrapped myself up in my fuzzy robe again and then left the bathroom, heading into the kitchen. As I entered the living room, I saw Luke standing in the kitchen in front of the stove, his hair looking a little wet. I took a light sniff of the air and my stomach grumbled at the delicious smell of eggs, bacon, and pancakes that filled our apartment. "You're cooking breakfast?" I asked, walking up beside him to watch him cook. He glanced down at me after he nodded and a smile rose on his lips, cracking an egg into the pan in front of him. "You're obsessed with that robe or something." He mentioned, chuckling softly to himself. I smiled and brushed my fingertips down the soft fuzz on my robe. "Well, it's better than the way I used to walk around before you moved in." I said, smiling.
He glanced over at me and raised a brow curiously. "And what way was that?" He asked. I hungrily eyed the food he had in the pan and leaned against the counter. "In my panties and a crop top, sometimes naked. Just depended." I responded, glancing up at him. His brows raised and he smirked a little. "And you stopped on whose account? I'm sure it wasn't mine." He said smoothly, surprising me. I stared at him for a second and my brows raised, wondering if he was actually flirting with me right now.
Instead of thinking about it too much, I just smiled in amusement and shook my head. "I get the feeling that you're quite the ladies man, aren't you?" I teased, causing him to grin widely and push some of his damp curls back. "A bit." He said in a casual way, shrugging his shoulders like it was no big deal. Really, though, I knew that he was much more than just "a bit" of a ladies man. I just giggled softly and shook my head, not much buying his response to try and downplay how many girls he probably got.
Luke smirked and began to scramble the eggs, pushing them around the pan so they didn't burn. "Don't you laugh at me like that. I doubt I'm the only one of us. You probably have been with your own fair share of guys, hm? Romeo probably wouldn't like to admit it, but I'm sure you're one who has more than just Romeo going in and out of your bed." He wondered, glancing over at me. The smile remained on my face as I shook my head, eyeing the beauty that was his side profile. "Actually, no." I responded. "Romeo is the only guy I've ever been with." I admitted, shrugging.
My words seemed to startle him, judging by the way he snapped his head down to look at me. "Only Romeo? So, he...?" He trailed off, his brows furrowing together in thought. Knowing exactly what he was trying to ask, I nodded. "Yeah, he took my virginity." I confirmed simply.
"Well, then how long have you two been a thing?" He asked, looking curious. I ran a hand through my hair and hopped up onto the counter beside him, watching him continue to cook. "About eight months." I answered thoughtfully, cocking my head to the side. My hair fell to the side and I leaned my head back against the cabinet, eyeing him. "Eight months?" He asked, surprise evident in his tone. "Yeah." I confirmed, nodding my head. "Damn." He muttered, turning the heat on the stove lower as he moved the pan of scrambled eggs and replaced it with the pan of bacon, which was uncooked still. "What about you? Any girls who scratch your itch on the regular?" I asked, curious. Surprisingly, he shook his head. "No. I usually just do one night stands." He answered, shrugging.
"Oh." I hummed, my robe lifting a little as I crossed my legs together. I noticed his eyes drop to my thighs and linger there for a moment before he looked up at me again, but neither of us said anything about it. It wasn't unusual for guys to stare at me, so it wasn't a big deal to me.
"I should go get dressed." I said, hopping off of the counter and onto my feet. "My friend, Quinn, is coming over and we're probably gonna go shopping." I smiled, pulling my robe over my chest a little more. He glanced back at me and furrowed his brows a little, gesturing to the food he was making. "You don't want any?" He asked, frowning slightly. I smiled and shook my head. "No, I'm okay. We'll probably get something while we're out. Thank you, though." I refused kindly, giving him a little wave before I sauntered down the hall towards my bedroom.
First, I did my makeup, applying a clear lipgloss once I had finished doing everything else. I brushed my hair out and left in down in messy waves, heading into my closet so I could get dressed.
After a moment of searching through my shoes, I finally picked out a good outfit, pulling up a pair of nude colored fishnets. Not wanting to wear a bra, I put on a white crop top without straps, as well as a champagne colored skirt that was soft and smooth to the touch. My heels had a clear platform and heel on it, whereas the insole was champagne colored. There was a silk ribbon that laced up the foot and to the middle of the shin, which was also champagne colored. Lastly, my jacket was champagne colored and had a little frill along the edges. It wasn't even really cold out today, as it was the very beginning of July, but I was feeling cold.
By the time I returned to the living room, Luke had already let Quinn inside and was being eye-fucked while he stood there awkwardly, not seeming too interested. Why he wasn't interested, I have no idea. Quinn was a beautiful girl, inside and out.
When I arrived, Quinn turned her attention to me and let a big grin form on her face. "You're so hot." She complained, throwing her head back as if it pained her. "I hate you." She sighed, causing me to laugh and shake my head. She always liked to pretend like she was so ugly, but she wasn't. Even if she didn't look the way she did, I still don't think I could ever see her as ugly, to be totally honest. "So, we gonna go?" She asked happily, gesturing towards the front door. If there was one thing she liked to do, it was shop. I liked it as well, but she was on a whole 'nother level. "Yeah." I nodded, slinging my purse over my shoulder as I glanced to Luke. "I'll be back later. Bye." I smiled, hurrying out the front door with Quinn in front of me.
"You never told me your new roommate is so hot." She mentioned to me as we walked down the stairs, causing me to snort and shake my head. "I mean, you never asked." I said back, heading over to her car and getting into the passenger's seat while she got in the driver's seat. As she started up her car, she gave a glance over in my direction and shook her head.
"Shit. If I'd known he looked like that, I would've."
