Alex's POV

Uhm... Thirsty...

I stood up and put on my slippers, I looked at the Clock its 11:49 pm. I'm feeling thirsty, I walk through the door but I stop because I can hear voices down stairs.

"My lady, where have you been its almost midnight.!" I heard Ginger's voice "I'm fine Ginger, I just had to finish some paper works that are pilled up in the office" Gab?, she just got home?, "office!" "Yeah, everyone looks asleep, why are you still awake" Gab said "yes, everyone is asleep but did you know how worried we were about you, what if something happened to you when you were in the office or when you were driving. And your parents specifically said that you should push yourself too much, and its just your first day and your already pushing yourself too hard" Ginger said to Gab, "Ginger I have class tomorrow and I have to make up of that, so I finish everything today." "That's the problem my Lady, you know you have school but you still stayed up pass your curfew and---" she got cut off "Ginger I'm fine, now go back to sleep and I'll sleep to OK, so don't get mad at me" then I heard footsteps, then she opened the door and I heard it shut.

I opened my door and went down stairs to drink, "she just came home" I asked Ginger while she's turning off the light outside, I can see that she was shocked to see me awake, she nod "yes young master, she said she's been at the office doing some paper works" she looks so worried about Gab, "I see, well you better go to sleep you'll wake early again right' she nod "well I go ahead then young master" then I nod. Gab she so stupid she doesn't know how many people worry about her, she's pushing herself too hard.

When I went upstairs I was about to go in my room but I glimpse at Gab's, she's was sleeping in the bed but the lights are still on, I checked on her, she's looks very tried her hair is really messy its all over her face, I arranged her hair so I can see her face better.

"You shouldn't push yourself too much, stupid" I said softly "I'll let this day slide but if you push yourself again, I have to put matter into my own hands"

I gently touched her checks, "I was so worried about you, idiot why do you always have to make me worry such, dummy" I smile at her. "Good night Gab..." I walk out and turned off the lights and went straight to bed.

Morning...

Silvia woke me up at 6:00 am, she was about to wake up Gab but I told her to her sleep a little more I also order her to fix the thing Gab need for school, now its 7:30 and I'm eating breakfast, suddenly...

"AHHH!!!.." She finally woke up I was planning to wake her up myself but I guess that won't happen. She came down stairs and she's still wearing her office uniform or what ever, "Ginger, Silvia why didn't you guys wake me up, it already 7:30!", Silvia and Ginger looked at each other and they don't know what to answer. "I told them to let you be" I said while eating my cereals "WHAT!, why would you do that Alex, you do know that I'll have to go to school today and I still need to prepare my things, why on earth would you tell them to let me be!" I stood up and walking toward her direction, I looked her in the eyes "because you came home yesterday at 11:49 o clock, what would you expect, do you know how many hours you have left to have some shut eye, and you still need to go to school, afterward I know your planning on heading straight to work. That why I told them to let you be co'uz I know you'll need a lot of sleep because you have a busy day, and don't worry about your thing co'uz I asked Silvia to prepare it for you. All you need to do is to take a shower and eat breakfast then I'll be the one driving"

I explain. I'm not mad its just that I'm worried about her, she looks shock and surprise, I sigh "instead of standing there why don't you just go take a shower" I turn her body and push her, she looked back but her went upstairs.

After a few minutes Gab is finish and we drove off to school, "so....Alex how... How was school yesterday?" She broke the silence between us, "its annoying everyone kept talking and talking I don't even understand a word they say, tch! and all the girls kept checking me out" suddenly I heard her chuckle. "What's funny stupid" I said while driving, "I wasn't laughing for the fact that you didn't understand what they say, I laugh because you said all the girls were checking you out" what's so funny about that I'm a good looking guy, nice patient and sweet, I have a nice sense of humor and I'm also caring. So what's nothing to love right, "tch, I'm a reasonable man Gabriella, I'm like the ideal guy of every girl, your the weird one, co'uz you've been with me ever since kinder but you never showed any interest in me. Exactly what is your type huh?" I'm curious co'uz besides being the ideal guy of every girl, we've been together ever since kinder and one of the love stories I've heard is that when the two of you are best friends there's no way in hell that one of you wont fall in love. "The truth is your my kind of guy Alex" wait what?, I suddenly stopped the car good thing the street light is red. Did she just say that I'm her type, wait I'm feeling something in my stomach, it like a whole jar of butterflies are inside me, "its just that, in everything you like there's a thing you'll have to hate, and in my situation I don't really hate anything in you its just that there something stopping me." She said without looking me. "Wait are you confessing to me" I said directly she turn her attention to me and I can see she's really really panicking, "wha...what..no..no dummy you a..asked me what's the reason why I'm never attracted to you and I gave you the answer." Huh? That's confusing, "so you didn't confess your secret love to me" I said, she swing her head then looked away. "Then what's stopping you?" I curiously asked "n..nothing j...just drive we'll be late, baka (stupid)" hmm...

I started the car and drove off, I can't help but be curios co'uz of what she said, it like something's telling me that there isn't a "nothing" in that phrase.
