Chapter 8: •Soba (Date?)•

I hummed as Togata walked me to my class, despite the bell close to ringing,

"You'll be late too," I pointed out, worringly,

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure my quirk will help me get there in time," he assured me and gave me a thumbs up. I huffed and approached my classroom door, "Okay then.. Bye Togata!" I waved with a thankful smile,

"Mirio,"

"What-" I tilted my head,

"Call me Mirio, Y/N," he gave me a charming yet subtle wink,

"S-sure- bye Mirio-" I stammered at how gorgeous a guy could appear and faced away from him, feeling my cheeks heat up. I sauntered to my desk, plopped down into my seat, and finally focused my attention to the rest of the class... who watched my encounter with a 3-A student!?

"Y/N, is that your boyyyyyfriendddd?" Mina cooed teasingly, hoping just as much as the others students that he wasn't,

"I-I met him today!!" I yelped, "Don't just assume things like that!"

It's like I felt a sigh of relief come from everyone until Aizawa sulked into the classroom, "Time for a lesson," he states bluntly. I groaned, knowing this would be boring, and prepared to listen to the lesson.

"Y/N...Y/N!" A soothing yet faded voice called. I shifted on my desk and faced myseld away from it, "Go away..." I mumbled,

I heard a pair of feet stomping towards me, then a voice screamed,

"WAKE THE FUCK UP Y/N!!"

I jolted out of my seat, accidently activating my quirk. I burnt myself as I slammed onto the floor, "OW, oH mY fuCk!!"
"Bakugou! Couldn't you have been more gentle??" Kirishima hissed,

"That's what she gets for sleeping in class." Bakugou growled and turned to me, "You're fine."

"Yeah... I guess.." I winced, "Can someone carry meeee?"

Although I was obviously kidding, I felt a gentle pair of arms lift me from the ground, my face flushed,

"U-Uh- Todoroki-" I stammered, my face tinting pink as I do, "Wh-what are you doing-"

Bakugou growls a bit, which caught my attention,

"Why'd you do that Bakuhoe?!" I mimicked his growl,

"Because you wouldn't fucking wake up, light bulb!" He  growled back,

I gasped, "You take that back!"

"No,"

I glared at him as I snuggled into Todoroki's chest. It was comfortable and warm to be in his arms for some reason, 'Maybe his muscles..?'
I heard Bakugou growl again as Todoroki carried me away from everyone,
"Where are you going with her half and half bastard?! It's lunch time!"

'I'm not sure where we are headed but as long as he doesn't put me down... I'm fine with it...' I thought,

He gently placed me against a beautiful blossom tree, the grass almost as soft as a pillow. It was such a breath taking sight, a sight you would usually see in those shows when someone would confess their love for another,

"Why did you bring me here?" My eyes finally laid onto the stunning, heterochromatic male who sat across from me,

"So you could clear your mind and relax," he simply states and pulls out a lunch box, "Considering you allowed me to carry you,"

"Haha- yeah.." I giggled nervously as I admired him, "I don't have a lunch though.."

"Here, I have two," he handed me a sandwich, a good looking sandwich might I add,

"Oh! Thank you so much!" I thanked him and eagerly took the sandwich, "You're amazing, Todoroki-"
He nodded and ate his own sandwich, I scooted beside him because I liked his body warmth, "Sometimes I really do need a break.."

"We could eat soba after school," he suggested with a hint of eagerness in his non chalant voice,

"I'd love too! We could invite some friends!"

He examined me for a moment before turning away and nodding, '..that looked reluctant..?'

~3rd Person POV~

The two spent the rest of lunch eating in silence. Not an awkward silence at all, in fact, it was calming as Todoroki had implied. Once the bell rung, they made there way back into the classroom. School went along as usual, people occasionally gave Todoroki glances and Y/N mostly slept. The final bell rung and Y/N immediatley ran to her locker, only to find Shinsou standing by it,

"Hello Shinsou!" Her sweet voice greeted as she opened her locker. Shinsou's heart pattered as he listened to her voice, "Hey, Y/N."

"What are you doing by my locker?" She raised an eyebrow,

"Wanted to know if.. if you wanted to hang out again,"

Her face formed into a frown, "I'm sorry! I already have plans!"

"Oh.. do you mind asking who you have plans with?" The messy hair purplette asked, jealousy sprinkled into his voice,

"Todoroki," Y/N smiled at him and closed her locker after grabbing her things,

Shinsou kept that name in his mind at that moment.

"I have to go, bye crackhead!" She stuck her tongue out and winked,

"U-uh yeah, bye shining hoe," Shinsou nodded, despite the cringiness that stuck-out-tongue move was, he found it adorable. He found Y/N very adorable. He watched her walk over to Todoroki, 'Todoroki...Todoroki...' he thought and felt himself sicken at the name.

"Let's goooooo! Im hungry!"  Y/N tugged at Todoroki's shirt, a faint smile reached Todoroki's face and he nodded. He took Y/N's hand in his own, her gentle, soft hand.. a wonderful feeling to be given. It was also to show everyone else around him that he wanted Y/N to be his first close friend. The two left the Yuuei grounds, Todoroki still recieving some glares.

"Y/N! Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya called as he ran towards us, "Can I walk with you two?"

"Of course! We were just going to get some soba!" Y/N nodded, "Cmereeee!"

Midoriya's cheeks tinted into a light shade of red as the h/c female held his hand, it felt welcoming. He glanced at Todoroki who seemed to be giving him a slight glare/look. It made him smile a bit, thinking it was a greeting look.

The trio had all eaten soba together a while after getting it. They chatted the hours away, making them bond closer as classmates and friends. Little did they know, a male was watching them, his eyes glowing slighty and his faced curved into a scowl. He growled under his breath as he clenched his bloody fists, freshly scarred from punching the tree he was hiding behind,

"Todoroki."
