Chapter 9: •Date Continued•

"Alright Midoriya! You get to pick where we go next," I smiled, making the green shrub fluster a bit,

"W-well.. theres a festival in the park today.." He stuttered,

"Sounds appealing," Todoroki nodded,

"I agree! Lead the way!" I stood excitedly and nudged them to stand up. They did as I suggested and Midoriya led us to the festival. He didn't tell us it was a full on amusement park, though. When we arrived, the bright and beautiful light attached to the amusement creating rides caught my attention immediatley. I gasped,
"This is so cooool!!"

Midoriya chuckled at my excitement, "I know right?! Let's go ride a roller coaster first!"

I nodded and he grabbed my hand, we raced to a tall roller coaster called 'The Stomach Churn'. Midoriya and I examined the ride as if we were little kids again, jumping and gasping as we watch others enjoy the ride. Todoroki must've wandered off because he didn't follow us to the roller coaster. 'Maybe he doesn't like roller coasters?' I thought, a bit disappointed he didn't want to join us,

"Oh! Hey Uraraka!" Midoriya waved. I peered over into the crowd and spotted Uraraka emerge from the crowd. I also waved,

"Hey guys!! Isn't this so amazing?!" She exclaimed, "Iida won me this stuffed teddy!"
She held up the large pink bear and giggled,

"Oooh! That's so adorable! I want oneeeee," I cooed and ran my hand through the soft fur of the stuffed animal. Midoriya paused before saying anything, "I-I could win you one after this ride.."

I perked up, "Really?!" I asked, my eyes glistening in the colorful lights, making me seem more excited than I already am,

"Of course! You're my friend!" He smiled warmly at me which made me blush. We all continued to chat with each other until we reached the front of the line. Uraraka paid for all of us and the conductor led us to the coaster. Midoriya sat beside me and Uraraka sat beside him,
"I can get a bit frightened by roller coasters... so I'm sorry if I attach myself onto you,"
Midoriya sighed a bit before nodding. Possibly not wanting to move away from Uraraka and avoid hurting her feelings. I leaned onto Midoriya as the ride started and glanced up at him, he seemed to have on a confident aura.

The ride started off as a nice cruise against the tracks until we started traveling up one of the hills. Uraraka clung herself onto Midoriya, causing him to grunt lightly. We all screamed in enjoyment/fright as the roller coaster sped down the hill and rode up onto another one. It went just like that; hill, flat, hill, flat, hill, loop?- We finished off the ride through a loopty loop and arrived back to where the conducter was.

"That was so fun!" I exclaimed and hopped off the ride,

"Yeah.." Midoriya took a huge sigh of relief once Uraraka released him, "Even if I was suffocating,"

They both got off also and Uraraka apologized repeatedly,

"I'm sorry! Sorry sorry sorry!"

I giggled, "I'm sure it's fine, right Midoriya?"

Midoriya peered down at Uraraka, "Yeah.. it's fine.." he faced away from her and led me to one of the games,

"Hm? Shouldn't we ask if Uraraka wants to tag along?" I asked but he shook his head,

"I promised you I would win you something and that's what I'm gonna do!" He says determindly. I smiled and nodded, "I believe in yo-"

"Y/N," Todoroki's voice called,

"Yea-" I started but stopped forming words once I saw what he was carrying,

"Todoroki- thats huge!!" Midoriya jaw dropped. Todoroki was weilding a giant stuffed teddy bear, it was bigger the the one Iida had won for Uraraka. I lunged myself over to the humongous teddy bear and landed into Todoroki's arms,

"Whose it for?.." I asked hopefully, thinking it's for me,

"You of course," he smiled lightly. I squealed and pulled him into a tight embrace, "Oh mY gOd I lOVe yoU I loVe yoU I loVe yOu!"
A light red tint reached his cheeks as I praised him for winning me a teddy bear. I carried the bear out of his arms and skipped back over to Midoriya,

"Look!" I exclaimed. But there was no answer, "Midoriya?... Hello?.."

"He left," Todoroki pointed out. I quickly removed the teddy bear out of my line of vision and realized Midoriya was no where to be seen. 'Wait...why?...'

Todoroki took my hand into his, "We should leave now,"
I hesitated before disagreeing, "No, let's go hang out with Uraraka and Iida,"

He gave a small sigh before nodding. We found them near the food stands and accompanied them,
"Hey again Uraraka! Hi Iida!" I greeted and sat with them,

"Hey Y/N!" Uraraka waved eagerly,

"Greetings Y/N, Todoroki," Iida nodded at us,

"Hello." Todoroki responded and sat next to me. Uraraka started to talk about how much fun she had and what she did at the festival non-stop, it was a bit annoying but it was nice to see her so excited. After a while of everyone having a one sided conversation, we decided to leave the festival. Uraraka gawked at my teddy bear as I showed it off while walking away from Todoroki's house since we dropped him off,

"How did he manage to get such a giant toy?" Iida asked,

"I'm not sure but I love it!" I exclaimed and snuggled the bear,

"Do you love him?" Midoriya asked. I flinched because he came out of nowhere. His question made me fluster,

"Wh-what?! N-no no no no! When I said that I was just really happy- well like, I love you too Midoriya! I love all my friends and uh-" I rambled. Uraraka and Iida laughed a bit and Midoriya beamed at me,

"I l-love you too Y/N," he stuttered and blushed, "Can I walk you home?.."

I rubbed the back of my neck, 'This is kind of awkward- he said that as if we were actually in love...'

"Sure Midoriya.." I forced a smile and lead him to my home after saying goodbye to Uraraka and Iida. Once we reached my house, we hugged,

"Bye Y/N!" Midoriya hummed,

I nodded, "Bye,"

He pivoted and walked away happily,

"I love you.."
