Lily's pov
My legs sprinted down the stairs my knees moving and up and down knowing that I had only a few hours left to get ready for Eli's birthday party! Yet I still haven't told Adam about a thing,which I had too. I was too busy in my thoughts that I didn't even get the time to think about how I lost my balance immediately,when my feet slipped and I went tripping over my last step. I gave out a squeak knowing that I would soon be met with the ground. I closed my eyes embracing myself for the fall.
However that didn't happen.
A pair of two large hands caught me tugging me into a buff chest making my nose slam against the skin of it. I clung to it not wanting to let go of the warmth.
"Ouch." I mumble pressing a hand on my nose. I swallowed the lump in my throat when I saw who held me in his arms.
It wasn't an it! It was a he.
I feel Adam's hand tighten around my back as he gaze at me through his blue orbs. I blushed when I saw my hands pressed against his skin.
"Um-" I heard him clear his throat before smirking smugly, when he saw my red face he knew what effect he had on me. His face very slightly moved closer making my heart beats faster. He trailed his nose all the way up to my earlobe making me shake.
"Going somewhere beautiful?" He husked in my ear making my heart pound. "I was looking for you." At this I saw his brows raising. "What for?"
He questions.
I was still in his grasp.
"Today is Eli's birthday and she invited me-" I stopped talking when I felt his grip loosen around me. He just stared at me his face blank like usual.
"She wants me there," I quipped feeling gleeful all of a sudden. Adam's jaw tensed slightly as he rubbed a hand on his jaw his eyes burning holes through me making me feel nerves all of a sudden.
"No." He declared.
"What! why not?" He heaves a sigh, "It's not safe out there."
"Abd she wants me there she's the only greatest and true friend I've had as a girl!"
"oh really, as a girl huh?" He towers over me making me stumble back at the fast intensity. His voice coming out as a snarl."I-mean Xander and Elizus are my good friends too." I chime in trying to make a point.
"Please." I plead with my eyes hoping he would say yes. His jaw twitched
"Okay, but only one one condition." the next words he says makes my eyes go wide.
"I'll be coming with you." There was no room left for argument before he darted away.
Oh my god!
For a minute I stood there shock, blinking my eyes recalling his words in my mind.
Thud.thud.thud.
I felt my heart leaping out in my chest, I giggle out to myself before barging to my room.

My teeth sank in my lip admiring my outfit I thought once again to change into some fancy but I had no dresses.
I really needed to go shopping.
I wore a baby pink off shoulder top pairing it with black dress pants,slipping into black heels my look was complete,I had applied a little make-up but made sure not to cake my face with it.I wanted to impress Adam hopefully I would be successful.
