Amy's pov

"I need help," I said walking up to Mark.

"With?"

"This." I handed him my homework.

He looked it over then laughed.

"This is not the homework, your homework questions 14-24 from chapters 6-7."

"Then what's this?"

"Some bull shit paper they gave you to confuse you."

"Well, it worked."

He wrapped his arms around me stopping me from going anywhere.

"Hello." I giggled.

"Hello." He kissed the side of my face.

"I don't want to do the homework," I whined.

"How about, for every question you do, I will give you a 5 minute back rub?"

"I like your deals." I smiled. "Especially since I know where the back rub is going to lead to."

I turned around to face him then pulled him in got a heated kiss. Before we could go any farther there was a knock on the door.

"Boo," I whined.

He kissed my forehead then opened the door.

"Hello, I was told I can find Amy in here." A male said at the door.

"Who is looking for her?" Mark asked.

"I have been assigned as her project partner. My name is Gary."

I peeked my head around Mark, no, please don't be him.

"Hi Gary, I thought we were meeting up after class tomorrow?"

"Yeah, but I had some time now I thought maybe we can work on it now."

"I didn't even read any of the work, um." I stood super close to Mark.

"You can work on it in here and I can help you with your other homework later," Mark said.

"Sweet! The common room is all booked up and so is the library." Gary said smiling.

"Um, okay. Thanks." I forced a smile and grabbed my phone and texted Mark as we all walked into the dining area.

Don't leave me with him!

His phone went off in his pocket, I saw the color in his face drain as he read my text.

"Gary, are you still planning on working on this project tomorrow as well?" Mark's voice was strong as he walked next to me.

"Depends on how much we get done today."

Mark nodded his head.

"Do you need any help? I am a teacher." He forced a smile.

"I don't think so, we should be just fine."

"I need to get my book, I will be right back." I headed for the steps, but Gary stopped me.

"I have mine, we can just share."

"Um, okay." I walked to the table.

Mark went into the kitchen but kept an eye on us. As Gary was pulling his stuff out, I texted Mark again.

He knows my mom, mom wanted me to be with him, but he is mean. He might tell mom where I am.

Gary pulled a textbook out, but I haven't seen this one before.
