This poem is based on true events:

It is 3:30 in the morning.

You left my house at midnight.

You said you would call when you got home.

You never called.

I never questioned it.

We were doing so good.

We broke off the engagement,

but we were getting better.

It was the best it has ever been.

I don't know how I am going to put up

those Christmas decorations.

I don't know how I will get the car fixed.

You were apart of my life for seven years.

Now you're gone.

What am I going to do without you?
