Life of the Party?

As I pulled my car up to the big, let me rephrase... huge house, butterflies fluttered in my stomach.

"I need a shot." I whispered to Riley as she applied even more lipgloss to her already blinding lips.

"Girl, don't we all." She retorted before opening my car door and slamming it shut. "Breathe it in girlie, breathe it in."

"Breathe what in?" I asked while wincing at the impact on my car. Bertrude- my car- was a little old, but she got us where we needed to be.

"Fun!" She squealed before running into the house and leaving me outside to die.

This was going to be a long, long night. I didn't even know whose house we were at, let alone where we were, but thank God for google maps, right? I sighed as I walked up to the door and braced for loud "trap" music and the smell of mint juul pods. Whatever, this was my first party and I was going to make it one for the books.

When I entered the party, I saw Riley guzzling from a glass bottle and bee-lined my way next to her, grabbing the bottle and chugging it. High school kids bumped into me, making my journey a lot harder and more annoying.

"Cee? Who knew you could party?" Riley giggled while I winced at the burning engulfing my senses.

"Yeah? Well, I gotta get my courage from somewhere." I laughed while a crowd surrounded me and chanted for me to finish the bottle of vodka. Hey, growing up around alcoholics had its perks. At least I knew how to drink and handle myself. I always laughed at those girls who take three shots and end up on the floor. Drinking the last drop, I slammed the empty bottle on the counter and did a few curtsies while the crowd yelped and shouted.

As the alcohol set in, so did my groove, and I suddenly felt less awkward. Pulling my skirt down, I headed to the mosh of sweaty teens and danced up against Riley.

"Feelin' good?" Riley asked.

"Feelin' great." I replied while tossing my long hair behind my shoulders. I was starting to feel woozy and came to a realization- Maybe finishing half a bottle of vodka without any food in my stomach wasn't the best idea I ever had (but I will say, it was a damn good one... that I will definitely regret tomorrow).

Understanding that my body was already going to be dead tomorrow, I figured I might as well drink some more, and headed back to the kitchen.

"Does she ever stop?" Some cute tall guy with shaggy hair questioned while I took a few more shots from different bottles.

"Nope!" I laughed and passed the bottle to him.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Celia, but you can call me Cee. This house is so nice." I replied while admiring the fancy kitchen and furniture.

"Cee- I like that." He said and took a swig from a brown bottle. "Yeah, this is actually my house... or my parent's I guess."

"Cool." I said despite my bladder started getting uncomfortably full. "Hey, where's the bathroom around this place?"

"Go past all the airheads, take a right, and open the second door."

I laughed at his comment and brushed past him, making my way to sweet release.

Finding the bathroom was easier than I thought, and I laughed at my appearance in the mirror. This outfit was so not me, and I just didn't feel like myself. I shook the thought away and splashed cold water on my face before pulling my skirt up and peeing.

"Ahhhhh." I sighed before wiping and pulling my skirt back down.

I grumbled to myself as I leaned on the counter, really feeling the effects of the liquid poison as I tried to stand up. Pushing my boobs up and smoothing my hair down, I took a few short breaths before opening the door and heading back out. As I opened the door, a drunk Riley flew on top of me and I gasped as the air got knocked out of my lungs.

"Cee! I'm soooo happy to see you." She giggled as I regained my breathe and peered up at the hungry looking guy standing above her with lipstick smeared on his face.
