"Um, no. I haven't." I yelled over the music and shrugged Jace's jacket off me, folding it and putting it on the end of the couch. Jace lit up a cigarette and handed it to me. I took a drag and filled my lungs with the toxic smoke.
"Good girl, huh? I'm Liam." He smiled. "Pills or powder?"
"I don't know? What's the difference?" I questioned, taking another drag of the cigarette before handing it back to Jace.
"Well the powder hits faster, but it burns. The pills take a while until you feel the effects."
"Can I do both?" I smirked and played with my thumbs. Hey, if I'm doing this shit, I'm going full out.
"Why not?" Liam laughed and turned to Jace. Jace looked at me and then nodded to him, giving him approval.
"I'm Melony." A girl with tattoos and long brown hair smiled at me.
"Penny." The girl sitting on the guys lap nodded at me. She had curly blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Dan." A boy with medium length brown hair said.
"Jake." The guy who opened the door said.
"Well, now that we're all acquainted... let's party!" Liam said and turned to me.
I got down on my knees and watched as Liam took a razor blade and formed a line out of the white powder. I picked out a pink pill with a smiley face on it and set it to the side. Jace took the pill and pulled my body in between his legs, opening my mouth with his other hand and placing the pill on my tongue. He put a beer to my lips and instructed me to swallow. I gulped the beverage down and then turned to the table. He got down next to me and cut the line in half.
"Not that much." He whispered in my ear before pulling out one of his infinity bills and snorting the line he cut in half. I smiled and did the same thing I did last weekend, placing the bill in my nostril and breathing in. I awaited the sting in the back of my throat, but this was different.
"Oh, God!" I yelped as a burn filled the right side of my face. It felt like my nasal passage was on fire. "What the hell?"
Everyone in the room laughed. Jace smirked and said, "The first time is always like that."
I panted and grabbed the bottle of beer, chugging the whole thing to try and cool down my senses. Then I took the cigarette out of Jace's hand and hit it, begging for something to help the pain. Yeah, no. That made it 100x worse. I slumped back into the couch and pushed on the bridge of my nose with my hand. After a few minutes, the pain subsided, and I suddenly felt... happy. I put my legs over Jace's and intertwined my hands with his.
"Cee, how you feeling?" Liam asked.
"Happy!" I replied and bursted out laughing.
Everyone laughed, but this time not at me, with me. Jace pulled my body close to his and whispered, "How about a tour of the apartment?"
"Yeah, sure." I sighed and stood up. I felt a rush to my head and immediately sat back down. "Woah."
Jace pulled me up slowly and grabbed my hand. "I'm going to show her around."
"Ohhh, show her around. Have fun!" Penny laughed.
First, he led me to the kitchen.
"Do you cook?" I asked.
"Yeah. I'll have to make you dinner sometime." He said and grabbed two more beers out of the fridge. He set them on the counter and opened one with the end of a lighter.
